While there, he also installed two lines for icemakers, noticed a leaking valve to a hose bib and fixed it for a very reasonable price, and gave a great quote for a water heater. All told, I got everything I asked Len the Plumber to quote plus a few extras for less than half the price I was quoted by them. I had him install a new water heater for about 2/3 of the estimates I'd seen for doing so. When I had a dryer delivered today, one of the delivery men complemented the plumbing on it out of the blue. They were delayed an hour or so on the second day of work, but they kept me appraised of the timing and stayed into early evening to finish that day. I'm not even knocking half a star off for that--they knew I was flexible in timing, and I assume they were delayed to finish up for another customer they probably served just as well as me.
