"I was referred by my Honda dealer, which uses D and D Sun Control for its auto window tinting. I checked out their website and was impressed with the services and testimonials. They also guaranteed satisfaction. I scheduled online to tint my 2013 Accord coupe on a Monday. They started and finished as scheduled at the North Shackleford store. I drove home and parked my car in the garage for three days without checking the workmanship as I should have done before leaving the store. I later discovered several small "white specs" in the tint on one side and irregular edges along the dot matrix at the top of the rear window. <br /> The following Monday morning I returned to the store and talked to an un-named employee who looked at the two issues and said the irregular edges eventually would "disappear." I was skeptical. He also said he would "try" to fix the "white specs" area. He said they were probably specs in the air that had gotten under the tint during the installation. He asked me to return at 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, when he arrives for work, and he would address the issues. I agreed to do that. <br /> I arrived on time and he was no where to be found (he arrived at 8:15 a.m.). Melvin Garrett, however, was. I had obtained his business card the previous week in case I needed to follow up. He inspected the work and said the irregular edges of tint were due probably to the dot matrix, which Honda liberally applies to the top of the rear window. It acts as a sort of reflectant. That contradicted the other employee's assessment. Melvin also said D and D would replace the tint job immediately. He gave me the choice of tinting over the dot matrix area. I decided against it. Within 1.5 hours the job was done and I am satisfied despite the inconvenience and the employee who should be coached better on customer relations and satisfaction. Brittany Rowland, the office manager, also was very helpful. Melvin was very professional. If you use D and D Sun Control, be sure to check the work before leaving - unlike me - and talk to Melvin and/or Brittany if you have questions or concerns. <br />"

"ATD Solar did an overall impressive work for our house. ATD was on time, had proper identification, showed us proof of the 3M film brand and grade, brought in all of their needed tools and materials, walked and moved around our house very carefully, and worked with very good precision and skills. Each window is sprayed, cleaned, and prepared for the film. Film is cut to exact dimension of each window and applied with tools to remove air bubbles. ATD crew was very fast and completed the work non-stop ahead of time estimates. My wife also liked the fact that they clean-up the excess film scraps and mopped up the window spray drippings on the floor and window sills. ATD neatly removed their tools and materials and left our house without any mess or damage. <br /> It has been about 2 weeks since ATD installed the 3M prestige 70 film on our windows.
