"After almost six months and dozens of calls, emails, face-to-face meetings, and texts, the work I contracted Classic Exteriors to perform on my porch is complete. tl;dr I'm not entirely satisfied with their attention to detail or communication, but the team stepped up when it mattered and worked hard to solve the problems with their initial work. I hired Classic Exteriors to replace the boards on my porch and slope the boards away from my house after a different contractor botched a similar job and ghosted me after I tried to get him to fix it. The work Classic Exteriors performed wasn't very neat, but if you're not paying very close attention the porch looks good and is structurally sound. They came out at no cost after a couple of months of prodding to clean up some of the rougher cuts, which was nice of them to do. As we were coordinating the work to clean up some of the carpentry on the boards, we discovered that rain would leak into my basement from the porch and also that there was an area where the boards dipped, causing water to pool on the porch rather than shed away from the house. Classic Exteriors worked diligently to solve these problems and even did some complementary work to bolster the structure of the porch in spite of my offering to pay for additional materials. I'm not sure whether I'll contract them for additional work on my home, but I can at least confidently say that the folks at Classic Exteriors are good people who genuinely care about doing right by their customers."

"I found Dave's Carpentry on Angie's List and called to schedule an estimate on some work that needed done due to theft of copper in a vacant house.  I was surprised when Dave actually answered the phone while he was on another job site, because I had called several of his competitors in the days before and left messages and none of them returned phone calls to me until 3 or 4 days later, so actually getting to talk to someone right away, I knew he and his company would handle my repairs professionally.
Dave came out the next day and gave me the estimate for the ceiling in the basement that needed a total replacement, due to the HVAC and copper being stolen from the house.  The house was vacant and in the middle of a real estate sale pending, so the work needed to be done soon and for a reasonable price.  Dave's carpentry was very reasonable with the pricing and completed the job that week.  You could never tell that the ceiling had been replaced, because it matched the existing ceiling so well.  Dave went above and beyond his quote for just the drywall ceiling replacement and he actually went ahead and painted the ceiling at no extra charge.  He provided detailed estimates for this job that had to be turned into the insurance company for a claim on the repair, and then once the repair was completed he provided a great receipt and write up of the work that was performed, so that it could be turned in for final payment for the insurance company to reimburse the cost of the repair.  I have used his services several times since then for remodel, repair, and drywall work and I would highly recommend his services.  No job is too big or too small and excellent work is done every time.

"The job was supposed to be taken care of in one day. It ended up taking 4 days after we requested that the job be done correctly. Work crew was supposed to arrive at 9:00 and did not show up until 11:00. We asked the crew to repair the few items that we discussed with the owner and they did not know about it. They “finished” the job and that evening we were able to see out the our upstairs bedroom window that sections of the leaf guard were not there and a section was not attached. We called and the crew was to show up first thing in the morning. When they showed up at 3:30 my husband requested photos of all the gutters from the roof to make sure it was all done completely. There was a full section of the back of our house where there was no leaf guard attached at all. They also did not have enough wood for the trim and not enough leaf guard to repair that day. It was finally done and done well 4 days later, but it took a lot of follow up and double checking. The foreman was very apologetic, but I was upset that it took us finding an small error and we would have not even known about the large section of leaf guard that was not installed."

"I had a smooth and professional experience with Holy Roller Painting. I had several contractors say they would replace/repair my bathroom floor but none ever showed up. This went on for a couple of months. I saw this company advertised on HomeAdvisor, called them one day, and they were here the next day. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and did an outstanding job for a fair price. They had time left before Jim Cole, the mgr. returned to do a final inspection.. In that time they repaired my front screen door for no extra charge. If you are looking for reliability and professionally completed work, you could do no better than to hire this company.
