"STB did a great job and beat the other two estimates by a wide margin. I watched during installation looking for obvious corner cutting (remember, they were the low bidder) but found none. The new gutters look great, have fasteners every 18 inches as they should, and fit snugly to the house, including the downspouts. A rainstorm a few days after installation proved the gutters work as they should. While I have no complaints about the new gutter, they did not completely clean the mess made when removing the old gutter. The old gutter had a lot of roofing tile sand in it that they allowed to be spread across the deck and in a few piles on the lawn. Not a big deal, but that is why I knocked off a half star. I would recommend this firm. I got a well installed gutter for a very good price."

"I was looking for roof repair work in Angie?s list and found "Fairfax Roofing Solutions"
I contacted Chris Wallace and scheduled an appointment. He called me ahead and showed up on time. Very prompt!!
The time he entered this is what happened

1. 1) I was asked to show the leaking spot
2. 2) He went to attic and to the roof to check the root cause of the problem (not many people do this; few others came and looked at the roof using binocular and gave me an estimate and I was not satisfied at all)
3. 3) He told me that couple of shingles needs to be replaced and gave me a quote of $150
4. 4) I told him to fix it
5. 5) He went up again and replaced the shingles. It was quick! (and also he checked the roof vent-pipe and in fact caulked it too)
6. 6) done.

Job done, and ask him what happens if it starts to leak again and he promised that he will come and fix it.
