Get matched with top handyman for multiple small projects pros in Alexandria, VA

"Beyond my expectations! The old door was condensing inside and out, we knew there would be extensive damage to the wood framing and floor area beneath. It was worse than I expected. Mike installed the new door, created a way for our pet door to fit while still being able to LOCK the slider! Over three days - the tear out, purchasing of many materials, repairing the frame, installing the new door, repainting/restoring the interior and exterior to BETTER than they previously appeared, and rigging that new and improved pet door - he worked diligently. I have never had a workman that was so neat! Cleaning up debris, bagging trash, maintaining the work area organized and safe. I have already recommended him to friends, and they have all said how great he was! I have many other projects planned, and will not hesitate to call Home Remedies again."

"I hired DC Handyman to fix some closet doors and to do some touch-up painting and Yonatan did a great job! I've tried other handyman services in the area with little success in finding quality service and a fair price. I received both from DC Handyman, quality work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them."

"Carlos has completed two projects for us and did very good job. He is particular about is work, knows what the process is and works quietly. Will contact Jim the Handyman for our next project needing their services."

"Sometimes you find a contractor that is a professional but rarely can you call them a friend once the job is completed. Gary is that. He’s patient, listens and delivers on the project game plan. I hesitated to write this post because I don’t want him to get too busy lol but it’s best to share when you find a great contractor so others may benefit so here you go. Call Gary, but an allocate more than 10 minutes on the phone lol. And that’s a good thing. Pictures to follow."

"Vinnie is awesome! He was able to help out with multiple things around my house. He was very polite and friendly. Will definitely Be using him moving forward!"

"Very professional, very knowledgeable. I will hire again for next project."

"I contacted Toho Yin (Tyin Handyman Services) for an estimate on several handyman projects. He came the next afternoon to give us an estimate on several projects and offered to do some of the repairs while he was there. He quoted us an hourly rate and completed two repairs (repairing a wood front storm door which included re-doing the door handle/latch and replacing the closures) and also repairing a broken gate latch. He looked at another storm door that needed repair or replacement and new trim. He identified several issues he found with the existing storm door; suggested that a new door would be preferable and why; and pointed out the "problems" that would be entailed in repairing or replacing the door due to the location of our outside step railing too near the door frame. He was very frank about not wanting to quote a repair estimate because he could not estimate how much time would be involved if the railing had to be removed, etc. Toho arrived when he said he would; was very polite, very professional and very honest (which we greatly appreciated). We recommend him!"

"We couldn’t have been happier with Joe’s work and professionalism! He was very communicative and prompt with every response. He hung four shelves for us and that will not be the last task. We will absolutely be calling Joe again with our next project(s)."

"Very skilled team. Perfect gentlemen. Started on time every day, worked extra hours and days to complete all the work. Very detailed in what they do. Good communication with Daniel the owner throughout all the work. Will have them come back to do more in the future! Price is always a subject and I thought the price for the amount of work I had done was a good price for me. They work with you on what you want done with no pressure. Helped me figure out a few color matches as well as I am not one that can see the finished product. Highly recommended for anything you need fixed, built, wired, painted, floored, roofed, anything. My fireplace now has a facelift and a mantle after living here 27 years!"

"We have been using Losasso for several years and have finally found someone skilled we can trust! Mike remodeled our bathroom, repaired and replaced rotting outdoor wooden stairs, painted several rooms in our house, and did outdoor painting for us. We have entrusted him with so many projects it's hard to remember them all. He is very skilled and does excellent work. Also, he is really nice, reliable, and an all-around pleasure to work with!"
