When they began tearing out the old deck they found it wasn't properly installed. They could have completed the job based on the original quote but their advice, and I concurred, was to replace the frame and footings which gave me a completely new deck and attach it to the house (which was not the case with the original deck). Unfortunately, because of weather, I had to wait a number of months for his services. However, once he was able to start, his crew finished quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. He replaced some of my dead bushes and cut back all of the existing bushes. He also added stone where necessary. He was able to come up with an idea to prevent the washing away of stone in the future. He landscaped around my patio and added a few plants without any additional costs to me. We liked him so much that he will continue to maintain my landscaping going forward."
