"I had a terrific experience working with Edian. We had an entire garage wall that was rotted from the sill upward. Edian and his assistant installed supports for the roof, removed the old wall, and built a completely new wall in its place. He also converted a window in the back of the garage into a new door opening, installed the new door, and installed the window to the new wall. Edian's craftsmanship and attention to detail were fantastic. He takes pride in his work! He took a sample of the existing clapboarding to the lumberyard where they custom-made matching clapboarding for the new wall. The total time from initial contact to job completion was about 1-½ weeks. I'll admit, my timing was good and my job was the right size (i.e. Edian had an opening in his schedule and my job was just the right size to fill it). Edian is communicative, flexible, and very easy to work with. He made sure to understand my goals for the project and then applied his own quality standards for an exceptional result. I highly recommend Alexis Home Remodeling and I will definitely be working with them again in the future."

We were looking for someone to help with knocking down walls, gut renovating a kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as doing flooring and some work in bedrooms. This review pertains to the quote process. Eric Dutra was very responsive and professional throughout the process, offering insight and past experience as part of the quote. Furthermore, he gave a very detailed and transparent breakdown of the pricing on a line item basis. The pricing seemed very fair and jived with other quotes. we received. "When we started our plan of remodeling, the first thing we did was the complete roof replacement including kitchen vent & duct pipe installation to the roof, and new installation of attic ventilation. MMP did not only completed it just as agreed but also very efficiently. The crews were friendly, professional, and careful. The jobs were carefully managed and implemented effectively. I was impressed by Matt, who is the manager, and he does an outstanding job in managing the crews and the progress of the situation, and the communication was clear and always to the point. We then moved to initiate a search for a contractor of two bathrooms remodeling after completing the roof and attic vent, MMP was one of the many candidates. Matt has had not only the best idea and proposals but also shown an impressive & professional sense of evaluating the project accurately, including the possible structural modification as well as a competitive estimate of the cost of the build. His proposal included a rebuild of a wall of the bathroom to expand another one adjacent to it. Matt accepted to use my schematic design image (made with a software tool) and a spreadsheet list of the fixtures that I created - as many as fifty items including TOTO, Grohe, American Standard, Panasonic, and IKEA - to start the job (later changed some of them due to local plumbing code compliance) After beginning the bathroom remodel project, Matt shared what jobs will be done with us timely and efficiently via text so that we feel comfortable enough in knowing what is going on while living in the house of dust & noise from remodeling. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. A home remodeling project cannot be successful without having a trusted partner, and my experience with MMP has led me to be glad to share my confidence that MMP has a credential to become your reliable partner to manage a construction project together."

"I had an excellent experience with The Curtice Group. I would highly recommend them and I'd use them again for a future project. We utilized the full design to build service to add a master bedroom/bath/closet, a 2nd floor 3x10 balcony, and renovate a number of items associated with the build including a re-build of an existing bathroom.  We live in an old house and Scott did a fantastic job making use of space and working with the house limitations, and overall, giving us lots of details and options as we had back/forth meetings on the concept.  The design process was great. We had a number of meetings starting from a wish list that expanded to initial design concepts and then to more final concepts. Scott made excellent use of space and gave us a lot of options which for budget reasons, we had to slowly narrow things down to a final concept. The build was equally fantastic. Not only was the quality extremely high but they stayed on schedule and never skipped days; there was always a team working every day. The workers and subs were reliable and on schedule, which you dont see too much of. Not only that but juggling/managing the schedule when the different subs had to show up was very impressive as the goals for each week were always met. Scott and his team really care to make a top-quality build. A few family members in construction walked through a few times and commented on the high quality of everything.  The house had two surprises as we things opened up.  Somewhat expected as unwelcome as it was: a bad foundation and a roof with upgrades needed. Both these items were attended to very quickly and surprisingly got back on track sooner than I thought it would.  Budget: Scott's budget was extremely accurate. Aside from the 2 house surprises (above) and the additional rise in lumber cost during COVID, all numbers and quotes lined up extremely well. Yes the cost went over the estimate but I hold no concern over this, since it was due to two extra side projects (that were impressive accomplishments). When the project was done Scott made sure we were happy with everything. A few items to touch up were quickly dealt with and Scott really went above and beyond making sure things were 100%. No negative comments from me. Any items to nit-pick are not worth putting in a review: this was an extremely positive experience and I would recommend the Curtice Group and would/will certainly utilize them again in the future."

"Humberto and his team were terrific! They refinished the walls in 3 rooms of our house and their work was top notch. They removed wallpaper, sanded, plastered and painted our walls so that now they look pristine. I asked them if they could put in new doors and they did a great job with that too. His class provided comprehensive information on the process and planning required to achieve a successful renovation project. He granted us free access to the educational material and some of the planning tools (others are only available to his clients), on his company’s website. This served as the foundational info for his class presentations. He is a passionate subject matter expert and the class was interactive. He also brought in guest speakers, local professionals, with experience in supporting their customers in various aspects of their renovation projects."

"These contractors were excellent and renovated 3/4 of our house. They buffered our wood floor and made it look brand new, they remodeled our bathroom and made it look like a Hollywood dressing room, they renovated our cielings, and our basement floors. Additionally, they repainted our porch, our walls in our study and our kitchen. Furthermore, the lead contractor and owner is a **** good carpenter and built new cherry cabinets that perfectly matched the existing ones, they also installed a quartz slab for the counter, as well as a swivel television and new wood floors in the basement. All in all these men did a fantastic job and we couldn’t have sold our house without them. If you’re renovating your house, this company is whom you want to do it. Their work ethic is unaparalled and their personalities are fantastic as well."
