"Jordan and his team do great work.  I had to be persistent in getting his estimate as I think he was really busy.  He also doesn't do a written estimate like the other two Angie's List recommended companies.   However, he stuck to his verbal/handshake pricing regardless of whatever problems he may have encountered.  We had some communication problems when we had to be out-of-town on a weekend in which his team was on-site working.  Because our property is on a hill, I had wanted the fencing tiered so that the redwood horizontal fencing would be level with the patio.  When we arrived home on Monday, we found that he hadn't done that on the critical rear portion of the fence.  When I said that we didn't like the downward slant of the fence, he agreed to redo it.  This added an extra day to the job - but he wanted to make sure we were happy with how the fence looked.   When he and his team completed the deck, I asked about putting a wood lattice around the bottom of the deck to keep animals out.  He said he would take care of it.  When I mentioned that the last step down on the deck was twice the length of the previous 3 steps, he came back and added another step to match the other three.   We had previously hired someone to do a deck and fence design, so we had some original drawings that we were able to show him.  This helped immensely.   If you're doing anything complicated, be sure to have your ideas well-thought out so you can be certain of getting what you need.   I would hire Jordan and his crew again.  His pricing was quite a bit less than the other two Angie's List Fencing companies for the exact same project and he takes pride in his work.   "

They did nice work back then, so I went back for my recent project. They seem to have done great work once again. They use a hard working crew. What's not to like. "Right off the bat I was impressed with getting a call back within 1/2 hour of leaving a message. That in itself was a new experience for me, compared to waiting several days, or longer, or to no call back at all with other contractors. Don himself came the next day and gave me an estimate. He offered ideas and helped me solidify exactly what I wanted. He and his crew were always on time and on schedule. Don was very responsive, either answering right when I called or calling back within a very short time. He made a couple of changes for me that may have seemed a little picky, but he did so with no question and always followed through. If he says he will do something, he does it. They completed the project in only 3 1/2 days, a bit faster than promised and left the area clean of any debris. Price wise, he wasn't the cheapest bid or the most expensive bid, but was right in line with the average going price for such services. I felt comfortable with the price because I felt he knew what he was doing and I appreciated his professional manner. I'm willing to pay for that quality of character, as well as the quality of work. This was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've ever had with a contractor. I am so happy with my deck. It's just beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to hire his company again and to recommend him to friends and family."

"It went incredibly well. Ignacio spent a lot of time with us working on the design and budget. While this company is not the cheapest on the market, in this case you truly get what you paid for. Ignacio's design took our breath away. The texture and color of the stamped concrete is beautiful. The extra patio space transformed an ugly weird patio to a masterpiece. The flagstone topped retaining walls easily provides seating for more people than we know. The color coordination between the concrete, the flagstone, and the stucco faced retaining walls is very pleasing to the eye. Unique' s crew is one of the best that I have had the pleasure to have working for me. I have never seen a harder working crew. The truly gave us a full 9 hours of back breaking work. The job superb Roberto was fantastic, easy to work with and to communicate. Ignacio made it a point to stop by every day. As with all construction there are issues, broken water lines, sprinkler lines, irrigation control cables. Roberto took immediate care of any and all such issues.
