"The thermistor on dryer was faulty. While he examined it, he found that one of the seals was tearing. The technician asked us if there was any leak we had noticed. We said no. He showed us the damage and asked us if we wanted to get the seal replaced too. We said yes. In addition to the initial service call, the cost of replacing the faulty thermistor + the torn seal came to approximately 280 dollars or so. This was in addition to the approximately 100$ for the initial call. We thought this was to our satisfaction. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous.

"I'd call Mr Appliance again in a heart beat. I appreciated the pre arrival text to let me know he was on his way accompanied with a picture of the technician. He took one look at my washer and very nicely told me it didn't work due to operator error :-) Then after thoroughly looking at my DIY fix of my non working dryer, he plugged the unit in and it worked just fine. Well worth the service charge and a replacement power cord. I'm a happy customer! Footnote: As it turned out, the power receptacle was bad."

They disassembled my dryer twice to verify my dryer problem which unfortunately required a repair that ultimately would cost about as much as a new dryer. Clean up was efficient and complete. They price this kind of job at $325 for the first 10 openings or less and $ 20 for each additional opening, not including those coming off the 2 main trunk lines each house normally has which are at no cost. You need to ask for cleaning of the dryer vent when you order service, so it will be priced as just another opening. As an addon, it will cost I believe $70 or $100 (not sure, but it is a lot higher). Our cost above was for 12 additional openings (including the dryer) with the AngiesList discount offered by this company ($56.50). With this kind of up-front clear pricing plan, anyone can figure their true cost ahead of time, which isn't what you apparently get with those companies that advertise a "whole house" special of $80 or even $50. The whole job for our two-story home took a little over 4 hours, so that alone should tell you those other lowball offerings are totally bogus. Let me add and encourage you that if you're having your house ducts done, you should make a point of including that dryer vent. Our vent goes a ways thru the house and out the back outside wall - you should have seen the amount of lint debris that came flying out of it. There was enough stuff in there that if it wasn't a fire hazard it soon would have been. After the entire job was done, the two technicians (Eddie and Jason - good guys both) did a fast and proper job of cleaning up. I would recommend this company without any reservations."

"The work was performed between Sept 16-19 2019. Darryl and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 on Sept 16 as planned. They pressure washed the entire house during the first day and began prepping the exterior wood for painting. They scraped, sanded and caulked the wood. Darryl pointed out several areas of rotted wood in addition to the ones I knew about; he repaired all of them under the original estimate. We chose the paint colors from the Sherwin Williams selection samples. Prep work continued throughout the second day while part of the crew began painting. Painting, prep work and wood repair continued through the third day. The fourth day was only for the final (second) coat in the areas still needing it. The crew was very polite and cleaned up at the end of everyday. They stored their ladders and equipment in a tidy area away from the house everyday. They arrived around 8:30 and worked until 4:00. The paint job looks great! I will definitely hire them again. Thanks, Cliff"
