I felt a little uncomfortable not being in a position to get competing bids upon his upgrading recommendation. However, I felt that if not today, then when I least expected it, the old ones would give away, and might cause some damage. I acceded to his suggestion, and he turned the work over to his 3 assistants. They were quick and knowledgeable, as well as friendly. The process took about 6 hours, but they were able to restore my grounds to my satisfaction. I was charged $1,400 for a 3 and a 4 Valve manifold, but parts were included. I might have felt better with a bidding process, to certain myself that I was getting a fair price."
