They did everything I asked them to do, even rearranging items in storage to my own satisfaction.  They finished the job by making sure the storage door closed without damaging anything and assisted in locking it up.  I will definitely hire them again when it's time to move everything out of storage.  I am happy to recommend them to others looking for a simple, local move.  Bear in mind, they don't pack anything into boxes, but they will wrap the furniture in blankets and use the plastic wrap as needed or requested.  I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the move and the price was exceptionally reasonable.  I received one other estimate and it was going to be $420.-- - $540.00.  I also have to note that their online application process was user friendly and convenient.  I asked for email communications and Tim was very responsive by email."

"I had contacted Mark for a roof proposal, and he responded right away. I had gotten at least 7 different roof proposals over a 3-4 month timeframe. Many companies I contacted wanted to take up 2 hours of time to go over everything (really, they just wanted to justify why they are charging a premium, and with 3 small kids, I just don't have time for that). Mark's approach was very different. He didn't ask for 2 hours of time to go through the big sales pitch. He responded with what I asked for, didn't take up a lot of time, and his pricing was very competitive (significantly less than many of the proposals I received). Once I signed the contract, he was able to schedule a crew for the next day. They arrived first thing in the morning, and the job was done by 5PM. They did an outstanding job, and you would never know they were there with the exception that the house looked 100 times better with the new roof. They replaced several 4x8 sheets that had rotted, but didn't charge (some roofing companies will nickle and dime on such things), so again, that was appreciated. I would certainly use Mark again, and have referred him to several neighbors (one of my neighbors also got a new roof from Mark's company, and he's very satisfied as well)."

He was timely to arrive each morning and painted my fence quickly and better than my neighbors and at a lower price. He paid attention to detail and was an honest contractor. "Scheduling went smoothly. Shared the list of tasks couple of days in advance. Priority wise fixing pipe leak coming out of water heater was the main thing and shared the picture of it along with the task list. Handymen came on time and told me that he would not be able to fix the water heater pipe leak but he will try. I would have appreciated a response in advance when I shared the picture of water leak and task list with the person. They did good job on light replacement, caulking and toilet flush repair. One task was to fix the kitchen faucet pull out feature which was not working since I got it installed last time. Handyman tried to fix it and then told me that it is better to get a new one rather than fixing the existing one. He put it back and today morning I noticed that there was a small water leak from the faucet water hose which I fixed today myself by installing a new faucet. Good to use their service if you have simple tasks. Another thing is that it is better to get an advanced acknowledgement on your tasks list before the team shows up for actual work."

"We'd had a section of fence (square post picket with top and bottom rails) knocked off line by a fallen tree limb, and generally needed some pickets replaces and the double gate hardware replaced.  He did a good job on everything except the off-kilter section of fence, which he inexplicably nailed into place in it's displaced location.  All he needed to do to straighten it was lift the horizontal top rail and nail it back into place, then repeat with the bottom rail.  I eventually had it fixed by the painters I hired to repaint the fence.  But for that oddity, he was very good to work with, and came back the next day to replace the gate hardware since it required larger hardware than he had brought with him the first day.

"Scheduling the appointment via Angie's List was very easy.  The provider was responsive and was flexible when I requested that we change the date.
The workers showed up promptly at 8 am, introduced themselves, removed their shoes and then assessed the work to be performed and the supplies I had purchased.  It would be helpful if more details were provided about exactly what needs to be purchased.  The customer has to buy the supplies, but you're not told specifics.  When I went to buy the sheet of drywall, the person at Home Depot asked "What kind do you need?  What thickness?"  Um, I have no idea.  So I purchased a whole sheet of what I thought would be ok, and that worked out fine (however they only needed 1/4 of the sheet, so now I'm left having to get rid of the rest).  I bought plaster, but the worker told me it wasn't the right kind because it would require 24 hours to dry so they wouldn't be able to paint it.  He told me to exchange it for a quick set plaster, so I sent my son off to Home Depot to exchange it.  That worked out fine in the end, but as a homeowner who is not exactly repair savvy, it was a little frustrating.  I realize that in order to offer the services at such a great price they need to cut corners somewhere!  But as I said, more details on exactly what and how much to purchase would have been appreciated.
They got right to work on repairing the drywall in the master bedroom, and painting the master bath.  They worked hard for the entire 8 hours, and just before 4 pm the head worker asked me to come take a look and see if all was well.  I loved how the repaired drywall looked, you couldn't even tell there had been a problem.  The painting job was nice, but I did notice some specks of paint on the vanity in the master bath, and in the sink.  I cleaned those up - no problem - but it would have been better had they used some of the plastic that I purchased for covering things to cover up the vanity.  As it was, an entire roll of plastic was left over.
I would definitely use this crew again!  They were polite, efficient, and good at their jobs.  Overall, I'm very pleased with the end results!

"It didn't go very well for me at first. The person that was doing the painting didn't do a good job. He said he didn't know he was supposed to take the nicks out of the door and fill them in with putty and then paint over them. He just painted the door and the nicks that I wanted out were still in there. That's okay, they sent someone else out and fixed it and satisfied it with me. I had asked for the repair and the guy didn't have the equipment. He said he didn't know that he was supposed to fix the door. He thought he was just supposed to paint the door, not fix the nicks all over. The wood on the door had nicks in it. Like I said, they took care of it. I'm satisfied with what they did. I called them, told them what my problem was, they sent someone else out, the guy fixed the door, and now I'm happy with it. When I called, she sent someone out the very next day."
