"The installation of the egress window and sump pump was performed in a skilled and professional manner. It's a complex and dirty job that really needs to be done right the first time. While Jordan is not the cheapest, the work done was of the highest quality. After the project was completed, the walls were repaired and everything was meticulously cleaned. Jordan went the extra mile. I would definitely recommend JDS Home Improvement."

"It was a great experience. John came out to view the patio and discuss with us the work we wanted done-- building a fence to close the back of the patio, and a small fence to hide the a/c unit, and level the brick patio. We then received an email with the estimate from Lindsay a day or two later which included the fence work and two options for the patio (re-using existing pavers or using all new pavers), and the costs for both.
We decided to reuse the existing pavers. They acquired the appropriate permits needed from the city of Rockville and got to work. The job took a little bit longer than expected, but Lindsay kept us up to date on the progress as the project moved along. There were some additional delays on account of rain, but as soon as it was dry, they were back to it.
JLI was also open and responsive to questions we had throughout, as well as correcting a few things we noticed during the process.
Overall, the fencing and the patio look great, and the open communication/responsiveness between us and JLI is something that was very valuable.

"Soon after contacting Earth Friendly Services, Calvert County Maryland, Phil Murianka contacted me, set a time to evaluate and start the requested drywall repair work.  He was professional and timely.  The work was done quickly and with high quality.  It is obvious that he can do many home repairs and improvements, and he has home improvement work experience to solve unusual problems.  I have already requested more "handyman-type" work be done at my home by Earth Friendly Services.  This company is an asset to Calvert County and the surrounding areas.

"We were very pleased with Exquisite. They provided premier customer service starting with coming to you for the consultation and providing a good overview of product options and pricing. They showed exceptional attention to detail with the window installation. The windows themselves are a clear upgrade as far as both insulation/energy efficiency, and sound proofing. The owners / project managers are hands on in monitoring the project and making sure the job gets done the right way. Will use them again for any future windows/roofing/exterior needs."

"It went great! I called and they were out the very next day measuring and installing new screens in my home. The customer service was outstanding and the installers were very friendly and polite. The prices were much lower than all of the other window companies in the area. I will definitely be using them again."

"Rafael Gamez, the general contractor, is absolutely first-rate. Personable, reliable, reasonable, professional regarding all types of home remodeling, repair, roofing, and interior and exterior painting for our small 100+ yr. old Georgetown house.
Rafael formerly operated under the name of his brother, Omar Construction (also rated separately in 2012).
His team is extremely professional and timely. They show up promptly, even work nights and weekends to finish jobs on time.
Overall our new kitchen, using IKEA cabinets, required extensive demo work and careful refitting, customization of cabinets, crown molding, trim, etc.  It's a masterpiece, admired by family, friends, neighbors.
And it was done for MUCH less than IKEA's own installers quoted for the job.
Subsequently, facing slow leaking, seepage in walls at exterior rear corner of house--from basement to roof--we had Rafael repair and resurface our roof, repoint all exterior brick work where leaking was observed, waterproof and repaint entire house and front trim. When this work failed to stop water seepage, Rafael removed interior plaster, repaired and repointed interior brick walls where seepage was still observed, plastered with waterproof cements, replastered and repainted interior walls.  He was tireless and meticulous in following up to measure moisture content of walls and ensure all seepage was stopped--ultimately solving a problem that had plagued previous owners of the house for decades and which no other contractor had been able to solve.
We also had Rafael's team install attic access folding stairway and insulate and install flooring in our attic crawl space.
His team also built custom cabinets to match our IKEA kitchen for our washer dryer, a job that, due to age and tight spaces of our old house, proved more difficult than planned.  Rafael had his craftsmen return several times to get the job done right, tireless until we were completely satisfied with the result. Regardless of extra time required, he honored his original price.
All jobs, plus other odds and ends, were done extremely well and at reasonable prices over a period of several years. He has good men who he treats well and who like working for him. They always seal off working areas and clean up after every day's work and at the end of any job.  His sister also provides total housecleaning services when required after particularly dirty or dusty jobs.
He has done major total home remodeling, completely gutting interiors, building additions, etc., for other clients in Washington, DC and suburban Virginia and Maryland.

"I have used Pro-Home twice and both times the company has been very reliable and has done an excellent job.   The the first job involved intalling grap bars in my upstairs bathroom and the second job involved my downstairs bathroom, as described above.  I  have also had some email exchanges about selecting a storm door for them to install and have received great advice about how to go about this.  I highly recommend this company.

"Summary: Very good quality work at a reasonable price.  Company was generally responsive and was attentive to my inquiries/concerns.
My home needed some improvements when I bought it, including a screened in patio that had its windows removed and boarded over with plywood.  The concrete floor had been covered with indoor carpet, and the area was being used as a bedroom.
Carlos from Long Creek came out for our appointment and gave me an estimate on the spot.  He drew up a contract the next day (a Saturday), which was missing only one thing.  He fixed that and sent a new contract the same evening.  It looked good to me, so he came out Sunday to have me sign.  He measured for new windows either that night or the next day.
The windows came in the following week, and Long Creek called to schedule the work to start the week after that.  Once the team started working, they came almost every weekday until the work was complete (about two weeks).  One or two guys did most of the work, with the tile and electric being done by other guys.  (I believe the electric work was subcontracted.)  Due to the patio being segregated from the house, I did not have to be present for most of the work, except the electric work, which was scheduled accordingly for my day off.
This was the first multi-day job I have had done, so perhaps my expectations were off, but I would have liked to have been kept more informed without having to ask.  (For example, whether the team was coming out the next day, or what would be the next steps.)  However, Carlos was generally very responsive when I called him or texted him.  I think it's okay for both parties to learn what level of interaction is needed, so I don't have any real complaints.
Long Creek immediately addressed the very minor points I raised during the work (paint touch-up and window leveling), and I am very satisfied with the work they did.  The workers were conscientious, friendly, and cleaned up every day.  I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.
