Not only was their price fair and competitive, their design was the best of the three quotes I received. Next, they completely gutted my daughter’s bathroom and installed all new fixtures. Javier oversaw the entire month and a half project. He was very accommodating when I decided to make changes in the fixtures I had originally chosen. The job was started on time and completed before the scheduled end date. I would highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a remodel. I couldn’t be more pleased."

"I purchased the Angies list deal to have backsplash installed in my kitchen. After purchasing the deal, I called to schedule the consultation. No one was available, so I left a message. I followed in the next couple days and Michael came out for the consult. Michael is very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had a very lengthy conversation, as there were some other projects that we were also considering. We decided to pay extra to have the membrane installed behind the backsplash as well as edge trim. Michael said that he'd follow up with me with an updated estimate for the additional work while we considered whether we wanted additional updates done to our kitchen.

About 2 weeks later, we had not gotten the updated estimate. We decided not to have any additional work done so I followed up with Michael to schedule the job. I sent a couple emails with no reply. I followed up with a phone call a couple days later, at which time he also read the emails. He scheduled the project for the following Monday and said that I had to pay the balance by noon the next day to guarantee the services. I paid to make sure we'd get the project completed. Michael called Sunday afternoon to ask about rescheduling since they had double booked. I explained that my husband had already taken the day off for the work to be completed. They were able to work it out so the work could be completed.

They did a great job on the installation. The worker (sorry, I don't know his name) stayed past 5 to finish the job and cleaned up. Michael also followed up a few days later to make sure we were satisfied and to say that he would be out to put the sealant on the backsplash. After that call, my husband called, I emailed and called. It took about 3 weeks to get the sealant portion completed.

City Renovations is a good company that does very good work. And as I said before, Michael is very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, the responsiveness is an issue. I would have been much more frustrated if this were a bigger project.

"Mr. Heard and his team (Douglas, Omar and Uncle Merc) are very professional yet friendly and so easy to work with. I hired them initially to replace a tub and shower I have hated for the last 5 years; however, after the initial consultation I decide to do the entire bathroom due to the pricing for the project. We had a lot to have done…remove the wall paneling and replace with drywall after putting in new insulation, remove an old non-working AC unit that was in the wall, remove the popcorn ceiling, replace the French doors with sliding glass doors and paint but the biggest dilema was our fireplace. It was a large corner fireplace that had “wings” which took up a large part of the room. We wanted to remove the wings and make it just a corner fireplace. They found a way to make it look nice and we are so pleased with the results. Sidney originally gave a 2-3 week timeframe to finish the room but his crew of three came every day for eight hours and had everything done in less than nine days! We are so happy with the results!
