Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. They dug and poured a dozen footings and lally columns, supporting a line of new 6x6 and 9x9 beams that provide solid support to the house above. They showed up promptly every day, worked fast, and left the site clean and finished. Mr Zaman was one of the most prompt in replying and came to our house the next day. He determined that the roof needed to be replaced (which other contractors also recommended). What set him apart was that he went out of his way to temporarily patch up the leaky area until the roof could be replaced without a commitment for the new roof, whereas others didn't even offer. After getting a few quotes, we decided to hire Zaman for the roof based on competitive quotes, responsiveness and workmanship warranty. The job was scheduled for the next week and took a day and a half. Clean up was thorough and, when one of the screen doors was accidentally damaged, Mr Zaman had it fixed and reinstalled without any excuses. We're very pleased with our new roof. "Dave answered the phone the first time I called and arrived right when he said he would for an estimate. He looked at my leaking chimney flashing and gave me a quote to fix the issue right on the spot. He was also honest with me and told me how to repair it myself if I wanted as it wasn't that difficult. I asked for a ballpark estimate to replace the entire roof since it will need to be done within a couple of years and he provided one.
