There has been some minor rotting of the wood in both locations due to wet conditions over the years. They installed new weatherproof aluminum flashing over both locations and caulked appropriately. The owner called me to check on my satisfaction after they were done, and assured me they stand by their work "even if I have a problem 5 years later". Can't say better than that."
