"We recently hired LUX Foundation Solutions to stabilize the foundation of our garage, which was sinking. Before we decided on LUX, we talked to representatives from 2 companies; both companies suggested the same plan of action to fix the problem. The representative from LUX was forthright about what could realistically be done in terms of lifting the garage and gave us some time to think about his proposal. The other companyâ s representative assured us that his company could do much more, but he refused to put that into the contract (â They wonâ t let me,â he said). The other company was also asking for six or seven thousand dollars more, so our choice was clear. The workmen from LUX arrived on time, and they didnâ t bother us at all (no requests to use the bathroom or anything along those lines). We heard the jackhammering, of course, but other than that, the job was quiet. The foreman was always polite and ready to answer questions, and the crew always cleaned up at the end of the day (it was a 5-day job). "It was done exactly to the quoted plan which itself had been set out in considerable detail. Despite having the partial excavation to the bottom of the foundation filled by a very heavy downpour, the crew was able to complete the job within the planned timeframe. We live in an area of heavy clay soils in Alexandria, combined with a notorious strata of "marine clay which absorbs significant volumes of water, all of which made for very heavy going. Additionally, the clean-up and return of the property exactly to its appearance before work began was nothing short of remarkable. Cannot recommend this organization more highly."

Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"Hired Dick Christ because he was an Architect & a contractor. I wanted to raise a floor, a roof and move walls. He had very good ideas, but the execution was somewhat sloppy at times. I ended up doing the design myself and Christ made his plans accordingly. I upgraded a kitchen I had partially renovated 10 years prior. This project was for my dream kitchen and it worked out pretty well given the constraints of my 70 year old row house. Overall I would say that I was 80% satisfied. But, I had to stay on top of this project every step of the way. Main complaint is contractor wasn't on site himself enough and didn't always listen to me."

"Alpha Home Services was such a big help! I had a water leak incident that damaged the floor and ceiling of my home and Alpha Home Services was able to come quickly and open the ceiling and take out the dry wall. The first day they came they laid out all the plastic and closed off the damaged area and took out the dry wall to let air dry the foundation of the home. The next day they let it dry and came to check and spray to ensure there would be no mold. After they came again to install new dry wall and paint. They also were able to give me an estimate for all the damages and talk to my insurance company for the claim. I was able to get my claim and my home repaired in no time. Thank you again!"
