Small jobs welcome

"Paul and Matt did a fine professional job on taking out the old rotten deck and replacing it. They got the job done quickly, within 3 days. They put an extra set of steps like I requested on the new deck (two total step areas instead of one). Paul was also generous enough to put in a bolt to secure a railing on a side porch, which involved drilling into wood and concrete. They went beyond the expected and did a fine job for a decent price."

"Michael and his team were incredibly professional. They remodeled two of our bathrooms, including doubling the square footage in our master suite. Michael stood behind his work and insured. We were fully satisfied with the product. Throughout every stage of the process, he kept a clean and tidy, worksite, and was respectful of our families time and space. We’ve referred Michael to many of our friends because of the great work and professionalism he exuded on the job. We plan on using Michael and his team for our kitchen makeover later this year."

"Better than expected. Doyon Construction did their best to fix problems with the STAMPED plans. And when there was an issue for which he was not responsible, he fixed it at minimal cost."

"I’m very happy with the way the deck turned out. I originally hired them to take care of some storm damage to my deck cover and they did a great job on that so when we decided to change over to composite decking they were who we called. The team is friendly and easy to work. I will definitely call them again for future projects."

"My experience with them was really superb. The owner is terrific he came out personally and explained the products, came out a couple of times when the workers were here. The workers were great, in fact I have some cards for them, where I may have posted them later. They did an excellent concrete work. So they both, did a concrete extension and then they put up the overhead enclosure with a ceiling fan. So anyway we were really pleased, very good customer service, very good attentiveness with a good pricing, I felt very good about the whole thing."

Yes, cedar is a great choice for decking material. It offers a timeless look and natural resistance to decay and insect damage. Keep in mind that cedar requires regular maintenance, like resealing and cleaning, to keep it in top shape. No, cedar is not pressure-treated because it contains oils and tannins that naturally resist insect damage, rot, and decay. With regular maintenance, including annual cleaning and resealing every two to three years, cedar maintains its structural integrity and pleasing appearance for 10 to 15 years or more. Cedar’s natural durability, without need for chemical treatments, makes it an environmentally friendly option for outdoor structures like decks.
