"My experience was great.  Upon initial visit Rocket Construction performed a comprehensive inspection of the roof and attic noting all issues and work to be done.  We sat down and they explained in detail my options and costs for the new roof work.  They were very friendly, knowledgable and professional.  I was able to confidently choose the work to be done and roof style/materials from our conversation.  There was no pressure to "sell me up" on work I did not need (we were able to re-roof the house without stripping off the old roof which saved considerable money). A week later their work crew was at my house and completed the entire roof in one day.  The owners stopped by twice to check on the work and the cleanup afterwards was good.They even offer a visit after one year to inspect the roof and clean it of any accumulated moss and debris.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Replaced my roof.  I have a large roof because I have a one story home with over 2100 square feet (not including the two car garage).  I took advantage of the Big Deal and because of that I was able to get a roof with a little better quality roof with 50 year warranty for the same price as 30 year warranty roofs. I also had them replace three sky lights.   I gave them a "C" for responsiveness because I had to email a couple of times to nail down a date for them to complete.  I'm still waiting for one of my sky lights and I haven't heard from him for a couple of weeks.

|Thank you for the big deal because although I have had a little frustration it is well worth it.  They completed the roof in 2 days and that is saying something during the winter and a large roof.  They cleaned up really well and I have already given them a reference to my Mom which I wouldn't do if I didn't think they were fair and didn't do a good job."

"The written scope that I provided RSU was bid along with 2 other contractors.  RSU was cheaper by about 15% than the next bid.  The provided a written bid itemized by material type and labor associated with major areas of work.  After reviewing the scope I changed the type of material on a portion of the house.  They provided a revised quote for the revision as well as discussed how to make the unusual request I had work.  I added a couple of other changes as the project went along.  During each change RSU provided a written cost for the change.

Aurther at RSU came over a couple of times before the work started to review samples and talk about what I wanted.

They started one or two days earlier than they said they would, which was good.  They were pleasent to deal with and did a nice job.  There were a couple of things that I asked them to fix or change and they had no problem doing so.  They offer painting services and I will be contacting them for a quote when I get ready to have that work done."
