"Excellent 5 Stars!! Half of my large living room hardwood floor was damaged by rising water from heavy rainstorms this last winter. The floor is a specialized type, tongue in groove oak planks with a custom surface treatment. Alameda was the ONLY contractor that understood how to repair the half of the floor that was damaged so it would match the other half, and the rest of the house. The other contractors did not, could not guarantee a match. They just wanted to replace the whole living room with something that would NOT match the rest of my house. My floor looks beautiful now. It was done on time, and for the price that I was originally quoted. I can't say enough nice things about Alameda Hardwood Floors. They have the expertise, the work ethic, the customer service, the communication, the talent and knowledge. A+++"

We had put off having flooring installed because a good portion of it was ceramic tile and glued linoleum. We imagined it taking days to demolish all of the floors. I couldn’t believe it when his crew completed that back breaking work in one day! We were very impressed with how precise his crew installed our Pergola flooring and baseboards. "They did my ceramic tile floors but didn’t do any caulking and there are gaps between my baseboards and floor..plus didn’t finish installing the baseboards..they gave me how much to buy I was short bought more and they never returned to finish plus quoted us to do the bathroom. They were suppose to come on october 9th to finish and never called it showed up so now we are stuck with what we have..thanks guys like hope depot didn’t screw me enough."

"I got three bids on this job. Glen was the only contractor that pointed out several safety (trip) issues and said he would fix them and include it in the price. His price was competitive and his workmanship was excellent. He refinished our FR floor from a dark oak stained parquet floor to a natural finish… so good. Our pups had peed and stained some of the flooring. Glen repaired or replaced all of the stained areas. He was always on time and kept us in the loop as to how long the job would take.
