"I called for a quote on Monday and spoke with the owner, Bob. He was friendly, didn't seem rushed (like a couple other places I called, who seemed annoyed at the fact they had to talk on the phone), and informed me he had an opening Thursday. He also offered to give me a ride to work if needed, being they'd need my car all day (from 8am - 4:30pm). I scheduled the appointment and dropped off my car at 7:55 Thursday morning -5 minutes before they're even open- where a very friendly lady (Bob's wife?) was already at work. For being so early she was very chipper and helpful. No lines, no bubbles, no soap marks, not even that usual chemical smell that lingers for a few days afterwards (and that stood out, being that this is a brand new car and I was happy the new car smell was still there). "I had a great experience with Rocky and Solar Control. I had previously gotten a quote from another firm closer to my place in Palo Alto. Then I emailed Solar Control and asked for an estimate. Rocky emailed back within an hour with an estimate that was more than 30% cheaper than the first guy! When I told the first firm about it, they couldn't match Rocky's price.
