"I had Astera come out to diagnose what was wrong with my washing machine. They made it very clear that there would be a diagnostic fee, which I was completely OK with. My issue was that Vlad, the tech they sent, was at my residence for less than 5 minutes. He accurately diagnosed that my washing machine was semi-broken (which I knew), and told me specifically that the rear bearing was broken and the outer tube and rear inner bearing need to be replaced. He recommended that I just buy a new machine. I wasn't quoted repair costs, or given an estimate of repairs, just told it was broken, and to go buy a new one... I understand that may be the professional opinion, but it's not professional to spend less than 5 minutes at a house call, collect a diagnostic fee, and leave. It left me with the impression that they just came to collect the fee. "
