"The young man did a very good, neat job and got done remarkably quickly.   <br> <br>My only problem with Stan's is that they didn't itemize their bill.  Now I can understand if, as a rule, they don't itemize, but when I called to ask for an itemized bill, mostly for the purpose of finding out how much the actual hot water heater cost, the guy who answered the phone couldn't have been ruder.  (I can't help but think that if my husband had called he would have taken a different tone.)  He announced that in 27 years he'd never itemized.  Okay.  I perform a service and don't itemize either.  But if someone asks me to, I'll be glad to break it down for them.  Mr. Stan's Plumbing wasn't about to.  Sooo he's lost a customer, one who's about to redo two bathrooms.   "

"John is a nice guy and we had used him before for minor problems. This was a major problem and while he fixed part of the problem he did not complete job. I understand he had other calls but he rerouted some of the piping though the linen closet and did not feel that was a problem. He also left big messes. We had to call another company out to fix the problem and pay them to put the reroute into the wall instead of linen closet. I just do not feel he is qualified to take on major repairs. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />He did not charge me full price since he knew we were unhappy with results, in fact said he would not charge anything. We insisted on paying him for the leak he did fix. <br />"
