"Above does not list all of the repairs made.  This home belonged to my father.  He had let things go.  I had them inspect all the of plumbing.  The carefully explained and showed me all of the problems they found.  Plumber and helper worked for 1 1/2 days to complete all the repairs.  They were obviously very knowledgable and worked steadily.  I'm surprised that the only break they took on a job this size was for lunch.  I have used them several times in the past on my own home and have always been happy with them.  I would definately recommend them.

"1) Outside faucet was replaced and works great. 2) Tech found and removed a bit of plastic that we couldn't find. Noise gone. 3) Problem determined to be a bad solenoid. He didn't have the part but he did put me in touch with Delta to order it. I'll have to put it in myself or pay another service call. 4) Tried to repair with new flapper balls (which I had already tried). Dye revealed slow leak continued, so he replaced one entire flush assembly which stopped the leak. He only had one kit on his truck though, so the other one I will have to replace. That's annoying. The professionalism downgrade is due to 1) the wet-vac he used to suck water out of the toilet tank sprayed fine drops of wet, greasy water across my bathroom. I was right there and cleaned it up in a few minutes with paper towels (and threw the dirtied rug in the washer). I told him it was no big deal, but it was annoying that he didn't apologize. He just said "it has a filter" like it hadn't just happened right in front of me. 2) He later dribbled a little blue-dyed water across the clean upstairs bathroom floor as he was going back out to his truck. My wife found it and was angrily asking me what happened (upstairs) when he came back in. He yelled "because I'm an idiot" and went upstairs. I thought that was his way of apologizing but no -- he was angry because he wrongly thought my wife called him that. She didn't, and she told him so. He said "I thought that's what I heard". My wife was so upset at being falsely accused she left the house. When he was all done and ready to leave I confronted him on this, telling him I was there and my wife did not call him an idiot and that she is not one to say such things. He finally apologized, but my wife wasn't there to hear it. Finally, he spent 15 minutes or more working up the bill. I thought I would get details on what each repair cost, but the receipt only had totals. I thought it was a little expensive, but I don't have much experience with plumbing costs. I was happy to get 10% off because we are also an HVAC customer."

"My house is nearly 60 years old, and all original iron pipe components have started to reach their end of life. I chose Weir Family Plumbing because of an honest estimate, breakdown of what may be involved and what work would be performed, and was very reassured when speaking on the phone with Brandon, who was able to come out and assess my needs the same day. After taking a look at my bathroom and fixtures, he presented an estimate that was much lower than I anticipated. He scheduled me the same week and arrived when he promised, and was able to get everything done promptly. I expected a few unexpected things to happen with the age of my home but he was prepared and didn't have to leave to get anything. When the plumbing work was finished he was able to show me the work and explain what he did in a very easy to understand fashion, and afterwards he finished the light tile repair and cleaned up my bathroom and the other side of the wall he had to access to get to the tub fixture was put back together very nicely, and it looked excellent. Before he left, he showed me how to use the new faucet fixture and showed me everything working properly and was very easy and friendly to talk to, and didn't mind when I checked in while he was working. When everything was completed and he left, I felt very confident in using my bathroom as intended, and I haven't had any issues since the repairs were done. "They did a whole house electrical inspection a couple of months ago, and they even changed out burned out light bulbs for me.  I give them a B on the price; they're a little high, but they do a good job.  I didn't even ask them; they just said have you got any extra bulbs, we will change them out for you. They weren't repairing anything, they were just inspecting to make sure my electrical system was working.  I've had an air conditioner, a heater, a whole house generator, and a whole house humidifier put in by them.  They do annual electric and plumbing inspections as well as heat and air inspections, they are always extremely nice and do a good job when they do an installation, and I appreciate the inspections that are free.  They did an inspection last winter on the heater, but no work actually.  When they installed the new heater, it's worked just fine.  They just inspect it on a yearly basis."

"He did excellent work for us. He did work that no one else was either willing or able to do. I really liked him. He knew how to do it so he did it and he did a fine job. It was just excellent, the price is right and he was very professional, he used top grade materials and actually suggested additional things that should be done. The nature of rafter tails leaves spaces where birds can roost which creates a big mess and a problem until he suggested putting up wire barriers there, which he did. That was an extra feature that he figured out that we needed so he was very thoughtful about the jobs. We just recommended him to our neighbor across the street."
