"Angie, I was glad to find Advent on your web site. The technician did such a great job that I referred them to my friend who was having HVAC problems. Our A/C quit and I thought the problem was the thermostat so I changed it. The unit did not run. I wanted a company that served Eastern OK County & checked Angie's List on-line. Advent is in Choctaw OK and has a superior rating. I know why, now! The tech was running late and called to let me know, which I appreciate. When he arrived, I explained what I had done, saying that I had found the brown wire broken and reconnected it. He traced the wires and got the unit working. What really impressed me was that he doubled checked the unit at the heat pump and found that it was heating, not cooling. He went back to the furnace & thermostat, removed the brown wire, and reversed 2 other wires. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I really enjoyed this experience. Two years ago, when I was very sick, I was "hooked" into a costly plumbing problem by a local contractor. I'll check Angie's List first. Oh, by the way, the original thermostat was defective and the one I installed was good. Thanks Angie, thank you Advent!!!"

I asked Lance to do a clean out but after a little work on his part the cleanout wasn’t needed because it was a small clog near the mains n clean out access. He only charged for the service call $90 and showed us how we could do it next time in a few minutes. Great service and great guy!"

"They were extremely punctual for both the estimate, and the actual installation, with full explanation of how the machine works including the comparison between the cost of a tankless and a standard heater,. In addition, there has been some vibration noise (that only one member of the family can hear!) and they have been extremely thorough in working to lessen it, while being cheerful through the whole process, despite having to make extra trips to do so."

"I called on Wednesday morning and Buddy said they could be out that afternoon to repair the leak they'd missed as well as install the bathtub spout. I told him the repairs were so minor that we could wait until Thursday. He said Thursday afternoon would be fine and they would be at my house around 3pm. He assured me he would call before they headed our way. No call, no show on Thursday, not even a courtesy call. I assumed they forgot about me so I called Friday morning and asked. He said that they had not forgotten but just got "too busy." He said they could come out Friday afternoon and that he would call to let me know they were on the way. They showed up at 3pm without any warning. Luckily, I was working from home and was here to let them in.Clearly, the responsiveness I experienced on the first repair is not as consistent as I originally imagined. It took them approximately an half-an-hour to complete the project and, so far, it is working as expected.On the positive side, both the plumber and his assistant again were very efficient and friendly.Also, they only charged me for half a service call, which I imagine is unheard of in the plumbing business, and he was even polite enough to ask if the $45 was acceptable to me! Kudos on the customer service."

"My house is nearly 60 years old, and all original iron pipe components have started to reach their end of life. I chose Weir Family Plumbing because of an honest estimate, breakdown of what may be involved and what work would be performed, and was very reassured when speaking on the phone with Brandon, who was able to come out and assess my needs the same day. After taking a look at my bathroom and fixtures, he presented an estimate that was much lower than I anticipated. He scheduled me the same week and arrived when he promised, and was able to get everything done promptly. I expected a few unexpected things to happen with the age of my home but he was prepared and didn't have to leave to get anything. When the plumbing work was finished he was able to show me the work and explain what he did in a very easy to understand fashion, and afterwards he finished the light tile repair and cleaned up my bathroom and the other side of the wall he had to access to get to the tub fixture was put back together very nicely, and it looked excellent. Before he left, he showed me how to use the new faucet fixture and showed me everything working properly and was very easy and friendly to talk to, and didn't mind when I checked in while he was working. When everything was completed and he left, I felt very confident in using my bathroom as intended, and I haven't had any issues since the repairs were done.
