"Gary is fantastic. He repaired the outside and inside of my 2 bedroom 2 bath house Now ready to sell. Power washed, painted repaired windowsills windows, screen porch painted and repaired all inside walls. The outside work looks like the siding is brand new. Just can't say enough about how meticulous his work is. Pleasant and helped me make many decisions . He did many extras also. I would recommend him 5 star plus! Thank you Gary. "

Small jobs welcome

"Our wooden deck starting peeling all over after we had it stained about a year & a half ago. The deck was brand new so there was no reason for it to peel like that. HVR proposed a 5 step process and now we have a deck of our dreams. We have a deck that we didn't even know was possible! The quality of the work is unreal. Plus, they are a really great to work with. They let you know every step of the way what is going on. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Archer, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
