"I called the owner, John, the night before and explained that we quickly needed to have a new light installed in our foyer because it was very dark at night and impossible to see into the foyer coat closet.  We also had two other non-urgent issues needing solutions.  <br /> John arrived the next morning and quickly installed the foyer light.  We also had a recessed ceiling fixture that had become loose and was "drooping" on one side.  I expected it would need replacing, but John was able to simply make an adjustment and tighten it back up.  We had a vanity light over our sink in which one of the four lights no longer worked.  Again, John was able to do a simple repair (reconnecting a wire that had become detached) saving us the expense of a replacement fixture. <br /> His quick response and competence were very impressive and I will not hesitate to contact him for future electrical work.  I would encourage anyone in the NE Philadelphia/Bucks County area to call John when they need professional electrical work."

"The two electricians worked on the outside electrical line just as the snow storm was starting. Because one of the guys had worked on the line several years back, he could zero in on the issue. The result was that the repair was less costly (by nearly a thousand dollars!) and was performed more quickly than estimated. With a major storm forecast, I was frankly surprised the team showed up, but I was glad they did and I am thrilled at the result. The owner is in my cellphone, and when I have had problems in the past, a text message is quickly answered and the job scheduled in a week or two. Great service!!!!"

"The quote was nearly 50% higher than our lowest quote and about 25% higher than the next highest quote. Also, the electrician recommended a GFCI breaker, which would have been incompatible with our installation (the outlet was to be used with an electric vehicle charger that has built-in GFCI protection). Doubling up on the GFCI can cause problems and is against the installation directions. I wouldn't expect the electrician to know this necessarily (he didn't see the installation directions), but he boasted that they have worked with Teslas, so perhaps he should know (or stop using that as a selling point). Wes Carver Electrical was the only one to recommend GFCI, which added even more to the cost and put that part of their quote about 75% higher than what we ultimately paid for the work."

"After doing some research, I had a preliminary view of what needed to be done and the cost of the material for the work. Then, I contacted 5 electricians to get written estimates for the work. Four of the electricians quoted a price that was more expensive than Glenn. One electrician suggested replacing my current 200 AMP, 30-circuit electrical panel that was maxed out at 38 circuits, with a 40-circuit panel thereby only gaining 2 additional slots. Another electrician suggested instead installing a 100 AMP, 20-circuit sub-panel, which was the correct recommendation, per my research. Glenn also suggested this approach, so I immediately knew that I was dealing with a straight shooter. While price was an important part of the decision making process for selecting an electrician, price was not the only reason I decided to go with Glenn. Of course, he had outstanding reviews on Angle’s list (A ratings only), but of all of the electricians, he was the MOST thorough and MOST detailed at exploring what needed to be done and he explained everything step by step ... he also asked a lot of questions and analyzed my current electrical setup before making a recommendation. He provided a very comprehensive recommendation with 3 different options for me to choose from that provided an efficient sub- panel set up that was also cost efficient, but all 3 recommendations solved my problem. I decided to go with a 100 AMP 20 circuit sub-panel that will provide me with plenty room to expand in the future. Glenn completed all work in 2 days and I was extremely pleased with the job he did. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable regarding his trade, he is also very professional, quite personable; a very nice person. It was a pleasure to work with him and as I told him after the job was completed, he will be "my electrician guy" going forward. I "highly" recommend Glenn ... simply put, he is OUTSTANDING!!"
