"We needed a new tub valve assembly installed in our Jacuzzi tub. It was difficult to reach, so we knew we needed a professional to install it. We contacted Schroeder Plumbing because they had been recommended in our neighborhood, and they did not disappoint. They quoted the job based on pictures, and the quote was reasonable. They set a time, and they arrived just before the scheduled time. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. The job took slightly longer than they expected and they has to add an additional bit of pipe, but they held to the quoted price, and made sure we were happy with the work before they left. We will use Schroeder again when we have plumbing needs ... Mark Thompson Elkhorn, NE"

"We trusted backlund to ensure the lift station in our house was functioning properly and in good condition before agreeing to purchase our house. $1200 later someone named Jake said it was good to go. So we agreed with the purchase of the house. A month later it stopped working and our laundry room flooded. When we called backlund they said Jake no longer works there and sent someone else out. They took one look at the lift station and said it was at the end of its life and needed to be replaced. BACKLUND FAILED TO DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION BEFORE WE PURCHASED OUR HOUSE. They did a patch up job so it seemed to function for the sale. Given we can not afford a new 5k lift station we asked if they would patch it up again. They got some new parts re used some old parts of another lift station and billed us $1200. So now we are $2400 in to what should have just been 5k in the first place. They should have replaced it initially because now when everything is said and done we will have nearly $7500 invested in this lift station instead of what should have just been 5k to begin with. The parts they purchased will just be replaced because everything would come with the new lift station. On top of that we were billed 6 hours for an electrician who missed a rusted out pipe that connects the lift station from inside to outside. If you spend 6 hours trying to figure out why something does not work you think they would actually examine what they are trying to fix. Unbelievable. We are taking our issue to the better business bureau."

"we needed to replace our HVAC because of age. Called McCarthy’s on Thursday, they were to us Friday AM and new installation of HVAC completed Monday by 1:00 pm. They were professional, super efficient and very caring. Thank you Sam Roger’s for taking such good care of us as well as our installers. "

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"I contacted American Rooter plumbing because we had our shower and bathroom sink faucet would not stop dripping, like non-stop dripping. They came by and did a full evaluation of the home and found we needed: - A new shower and bathtub (which we planned on eventually doing anyway) - new sink faucets - emergency stops for all sinks in the house - a new main line stop since it was rusted over - complete repair of our outdoor water line stop - and a few parts here and there. We just moved in this house and knew that there would be a lot to fix so, begrudgingly we agreed. It came to a whopping total of almost $14,000 for everything. The first day they have to do stuff it goes fine, water heater is installed, stops put in goes well, then comes the day of the new tub, sink, etc. And I could not be more disappointed. First and most importantly, they just left the wall completely exposed! There are just parts of the drywall missing so the inside of the house is exposed (pictures included) and when I contacted them they said that "their job is done, so they aren't coming back". They never once told me that I would have to hire a drywall person to finish their job for them. They told me that once they were done it would be installed, ready to use and clean, it was anything but and they won't do anything about it except tell me to get an inspector and a dry wall person. Wish they told me that before going through with the project, not after. Speaking of clean, however, it was anything but. The tub was a mess, they left drywall bits all over the floor in the hall and bathroom and put all of our bathroom items in the hall and doorway so there was nowhere to walk and I had to clean up the debris. So it was anything but "cleaner than we started". Finally, they just cause more issues for some reason? The new shower starting part is not flush against the wall so water is just going to get inside of it and cause it to rust, they took our towel rod down for some reason and didn't put it back up, they turned off our water heater and didn't turn it back on, so we didn't have hot water for four hours and didn't know why, and finally, they left almost all the doors open and lights on. This is especially bad because I have 3 cats that do not need to be getting out or in places they aren't supposed to, they could also get sick from eating dry wall. Most importantly, I also have an 18 month old that could be doing the exact same! I am extremely dissatisfied, I have to pay even MORE money on top of the 14,000 and I just don't know what I'm paying for now. My house is dirtier, more broken, and more dangerous than it was before they got here. Don't get American Rooter."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This was our first time using Two men and a snake and it was a bad experience due to the fact they did not fix the issue we called about. We called to report a leaking dishwasher causing our basement ceiling to leak. The plumber came out and charged us around $700 for labor and parts to repair a pipe under our sink and in our basement wall to fix the leak when this did not resolve the issue we asked them numerous times to look at the dishwasher and turn water off to it, had they dont that on day one we wouldnt have had to call another company out to turn off the water and advise us we had a bad dishwasher and needed a new one. They instead changed pipes and made a mess of our walls unnecessarily to fix pipes that werent busted until they snaked the drain, although our pipe was corroded I agreed to pay for the first visit and the parts used if they agreed to remove charges for work that was not necessary they refused so I have filed a complaint with the BBB and also disputed with my bank these fraud charges of them taking advantage of someone who knows nothing about plumbing and causing further damage they simply said turn into our insurance they will pay for it, NO thank you! That affects my premium and they are trying to get over on us to pay for work we didnt ask for! I WILL NEVER use this scam of a company again and will share my experiences with anyone who will listen to never use them as they will do more work than what is needed and just expect payment. I asked to them to work with me and refund the 2nd days charge of $292 for labor and we would gladly pay the other $400 for services and parts they rudely declined and argues with me about what was going on in my home when we called saying we said a clogged sink and we never had issue with our sink it was always the dishwasher and had told them that from the beginning. They knew all they had to do was turn the water off to the dishwasher and instead of doing the right thing they took advantage and charged us for work that was not needed until they made corroded pipes break by snaking the drain as their office associate Kalli told me over the phone, so you broke my pipe then charged me to fix it? I see how you all do business."
