"Granados were a pleasure to work with. Friendly, but still very professional. They clearly stated what would be included in the bid, and even offered suggestions. Wood fence was built in just two days and looks nice."

"I am very pleased with my new fence installed by ERGEON. It’s beautiful. All installed in one day. Adrian and his coworker are both skilled, friendly and professional. Shout out to Victor (not Frank) -inside joke. Victor was my first ERGEON contact on the phone and video call to go over what I wanted for my fence. Victor is friendly and I enjoyed talking to him. I appreciate his patience and help in putting the plans, estimate and contract together. Additional thanks to Jennie the project wrangler. Jennie, via phone and texts, stepped in for her part of the fence process and showed great patience with me after I had received last minute fence ideas by my house mate causing a stall of the project and me second guessing what I wanted for my fence. Ultimately I went back to square one to the original plan Victor first wrote up for me. Thank you Jennie for updating the contract back to my original desired fence. I am very glad I chose ERGEON. Many Thanks to all of you including angi.com for recommending ERGEON."

"We moved into a new home and needed a deck. F&F came and gave us an idea of what would work because of the septic tank location. Jason was very professional and helpful in assisting us with the right decision within budget. Tom, along with Mac, were absolutely professional and kind. The work was done in a timely matter and we now have a deck for many years. They did so well, we extended the deck and added French doors and a bathroom window to our home. I would highly recommend F&F for any deck or outdoor addition! Easy, quick and professional. No extended time frame for completion of work."

FAQs for chain link fence repair or alter projects in Arlington, WA

Installing a concrete reinforcement slab significantly boosts the stability and longevity of your chain link fence. This reinforcement creates a strong foundation that protects the fence from erosion, burrowing animals, and high winds. The installation cost is $4 to $10 per square foot, and this robust base minimizes the need for future repairs while extending the overall lifespan of your fence.

Repairing minor damage such as small holes is far more cost‑effective than replacing significant portions of your chain link fence. Minor repairs cost between $100 and $200, while replacing full sections demands an investment of $1,000 to $2,000. For a fence that is 20 years old or older, having an expert assess it now can prevent repeated repair expenses and secure long‑term durability, thereby safeguarding overall fence performance.

If you'd rather remove your chain link fence than repair or replace it, professionals charge between $3 and $5 per linear foot for the job. There may be additional costs involved if there is extra labor needed, like relocating plants or separating the chain-link fence from other existing structures. This also does not include waste disposal fees.

Chain link fences have an average lifespan of 20 years with regular cleaning and maintenance. They stand out as one of the most affordable and durable fencing options available to homeowners and businesses alike. Chain link fences often last five to 10 years longer than comparable wooden fence installations. Chain-link fences made with a vinyl coating often exceed these estimates, providing even greater longevity and weather resistance.
