"I believe North Star Roofing and Construction changed ownership sometime in the last few years or there are two companies with the same name, or something else is going on. I Googled Russ Oja who I always dealt with and found him on Linked In as the former owner. I looked on the Land I site
https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/Detail.aspx?UBI=602086881and LIC=NORTHSR994KUand SAW=
and found that Russ' license lapsed on 6/10/2012. So the North Star Roofing and Construction company that I dealt with is no more. Furthermore I see no North Star Roofing in Seattle listed on the Land I site.
I am writing this because Angie's List asked for a review. I'm not sure what I clicked or wrote that made them aware of my prior use of North Star. The North Star I used was addressed on Mukilteo Speedway in Lynwood. The North Star that Angie's List has prompted me to review is at 815 1st Ave in Seattle.

"These guys did great work. We chose to replace deck with Trex decking and added stairs. They did a fantastic job with tear down and removal of old deck, pouring new footings and landing, installation of new deck and final cleanup. We love the framing of the deck and stairs, really looks sharp. They were great about returning to address a couple of concerns we had. The entire project was done very professionally. I’d like to clarify that the 4 star on punctuality was really no fault of Bluegrass Contruction. Supply chain issues set the project back a bit, compounded by a significant snow storm and the holidays. I would and will go with Bluegrass for any future projects within their area of expertise. Highly recommend!"

"Agron evaluated our roof and how it was a poor quality job from the original construction. He offered us options including a simple fix (which due to the original construction probably wouldn't last) or to replace that section of the roof with a proper installation. We opted for the proper installation and it looks great and we feel good for that area of the roof (other areas could still be a problem as he noted, but we will deal with those areas as needed). They were also great at cleaning everything up and making sure we were satisfied with the state of the yard (after some bushes had slight damage). Overall I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we need roof work."

"It was the best experience with a contractor that we have ever had. Even our neighbors so were impressed they brought the guys refreshments! I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the the young gentleman who own the company and have recommended them to a number of our friends. They did exactly what they said they would do with they said they would do it. They cleaned up after themselves every night and policed the area for any nails or other sharp objects that might be laying around. Two of our neighbors were so impressed that they too have had roofs installed by these people. Six bids were submitted to us for the work on our roof although not the lowest, they did offer the best product and were the most professional.

"The service and eventual installation by New Floors USA was exceptional. The sales staff was incredibly informative and patient with us as we made our decision on flooring as part of our kitchen and home remodel. Steve was great to work with and a huge blessing to have that level of information and support in to-days economy-industries. I would highly recommend New Floors USA!!"

"The service was above expectations, I really recommend Adam, this is not the first time we renovate the house and all the times the contractors cheated us in everything that concerns the price and performance, with Adam everything was in place from the beginning to the end!"
