Jeh Johnson and his partner Tracy Herod have worked diligently to execute the itemized proposal that began this project to rehab, restore, and rebuild my home at 607 Wilmington ave. St. Louis MO 63111. An incredible number of tradesmen and tradeswomen have done their individual tasks all on a schedule professionally overseen by Jeh. These liscensed and masters of their trades worked alongside Jeh who if necessary stepped in and aided e these individuals. His overall expertise has brought my home to this point. One must keep in mind that a burnout like my home is an unusal job for Ethos Buildig Group LLc to accept. Yet at every stage my home has been given the same careful and thorough attention as their larger jobs. And despite some push back with my insurance company every thing has proceeded smoothly and orderly manner given the inevitable supply chain delays. Jeh Johnson is an affable young man who has facilitated all phases my prject and has even taken time to educate me on all the intricacies involved in a project such as mine. I cannot think of any single word to describe my experience with Ethos Building Group LLc but the forgoing will have to suffice. Thanks you for your kind attention. "Finding someone trustworthy that does a great job with great customer service is hard to do. When the project is expensive it makes it more nerve wracking to decide who to go with. If you are lucky enough to find someone that checks those boxes, they become your go to people for your projects and as well as who you recommend. A few years ago I had Hoffman replace my driveway and was completely happy with their service from initial contact to completion. Years later I’m still completely satisfied with my decision to use them. Recently I decided to pour a shed pad and replace an old back patio. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind on who I should call. Like last time the entire experience was top notch. Jessica is amazing to work with from the start and is very friendly and communicative. The owner Mark really cares about the quality of work and clearly appreciates your business. His son, who runs the concrete crew, is also awesome to work with and really cares about a customer-first approach and performing quality jobs. The rest of the crew is also very engaging and respectful and performs high quality work. If you or someone you know is looking for concrete work I cannot recommend them enough. I have a high expectation for work done at my house and they exceed those expectations. You cannot go wrong giving them a call and having them perform the work. They will continue to be my go-to company for all things related to concrete."

"NIGHTMARE!! Buyer beware!! Do not use Bath Planet St. Charles, MO or Peoria, IL same owner. Believe me, I’m doing you a favor and saving you time and money. Where do I even start? First of all, they will say anything to get you to sign the paperwork. And I mean anything, including guaranteeing it to be done by a certain date if you sign today. We were not going to get it done this early but due to my upcoming hip replacement and their guarantee that it would be done before that surgery date, we signed. UGH! Well, mistakes started right away, including getting our phone number wrong and even though we called the office several times to correct, told everyone person that came out, they continued to get it wrong. I thought, it’s ok people makes mistakes but little did I know it was just the beginning. Starting with the guys leaving my gate open and my dog getting out and having to pay $85 to get her from animal control. She was missing for hours!!!! Now I have to say, they felt bad and tried looking for her and due to me not able to drive, gave me a ride to animal control to pick her up and even offered to pay half. So I thought ok, this is a mess but they are trying to make it right. Little did I know this was just the beginning. From making a mess, breaking a yard sign, the worker having long arguments with their significant other on the phone while working (awkward) they began their work promising to be done in two days. Well, first day looked promising although the guy told me that what I was told about covering the tile behind my toilet was not going to happen. I was bothered and when I said I cancelled my drywall guy, he offered to do it for me “on the side” while the toilet was out. He seemed to want to help and said he would take care of it. Against my better judgement I agreed. I also found out that first day that this guy had a family emergency and that he would have to finish the next day because he would be gone the rest of the week. Ok understandable. The second day, I get a text that some parts are not in. After no one coming by 1pm, I started to get concerned so I called the office and I asked what time the parts will be coming in. The woman stated that the parts probably wouldn’t be until later. I asked if the guy doesn’t get done, could they guarantee someone else to come out the next day to finish. She stated absolutely not, we cannot guarantee and she stated they do not guarantee it done by my surgery. I was not happy and made it known and she started arguing with me. So the guy texts that he will be there and it will be done. He gets here like 430-500pm doesn’t leave until 930pm. And didn’t finish the shower and did a terrible job on the drywall. Oh, the shower worked but there were no shelves, the floor pan had no texture and one of the shower heads was installed in the middle of the wall. Yes the middle!!! I was furious. It was not done and my bathroom looked horrible!! Of course, the project manager was nice and listened and kept promising to make it right. It took weeks and several no shows and me and my husband calling and calling (and the whole time I’m recovering from TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT) until finally a different guy came out and finished the shower but he would not touch the drywall. So it took a month of dealing with them to get it done AND I had to hire another guy to correct the drywall. When we asked for a small discount to cover drywall correction expense and the fact they were not finished with install by promised date, we were told, “no. The shower worked, didn’t it?” Seriously?!! I wasn’t promised that the water would be coming out of the shower (in the middle of the wall) I was promised that they would be done before my surgery or at least installed correctly! So if you like being strung along, hearing false promises, no return phone calls, unprofessional behavior from staff to installers, leaving your house messier than when they came in, breaking your yard stuff, losing your dog, then these are the guys for you."
