"We had a leaking water heater, and by the time we found it had been leaking, the water had done significant water and mold damage to our floors and drywall. Our insurance carrier gave us the names of a few restoration companies in the area, fortunately I chose Water Damage America. Water Damage America arrived the next morning after our call, and immediately went to work setting up industrial strength dehumidifiers to dry everything out. This process took a week due to the extent of water damage. Our project manager kept us informed about how things were progressing, and was always available for us to call him to ask questions, which he answered thoroughly. The crews who did the work were very professional and thorough. If they were running just a few minutes behind schedule, they called us to apologize. They removed and disposed of all the damaged materials, leaving nothing behind. They were so thorough, that when they pulled out our washer and dryer to remove the floor covering, and before replacing them, they cleaned the walls and the machines themselves, which I was embarrassed to admit I never clean and the area was filthy...not anymore!! "KJS showed up about 30 minutes after we called them and went right to work putting up air-movers and a huge dehumidifier. They removed the carpet padding that was soaked and checked for any additional damage that could have been caused by the water. Three days later they removed the drying equipment and returned a week after that to do the carpet repair and cleaning. They were always professional and easy to reach in case of questions.
