They paid attention to the small details of the tile work, which I very much appreciated. They painted, re-installed towel rods and made everything just right. Jeff's team was always conscientious and flexible. They kept the work area clean and neat. Jeff was good about getting back to me quickly and updating me on the work. I am guessing this was a small job for them but they treated it like any other job, and got the work done more or less when we had planned. The project cost what Jeff said it would - no surprises in the invoice. I would hire Jeff again in an instant."

"We acquired a condominium on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house in Arlington. MA. The existing hardwood floors were beyond repair and we wanted to add a 2nd bathroom. In addition we wanted to integrate the existing sun porch into the living room to more than recover the area lost to the new bathroom, and install central A/C. We had estimates from three other contractors before we met with Pedro from Crystal Renovations. His pricing was very competitive relative to the other contractors, but that was mostly due to the others trying to add work that we didn't want or need. Pedro listened to what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. From the very beginning of the project until the end Pedro was always responsive and answered, emails, texts, and phone messages in a very timely fashion. He and his crew and subs were a pleasure to work with and any issues that arose were dealt with in a calm and professional manner. Before and during the project Pedro made several design suggestions such as recessed lighting on the sun porch, shower stall light, and new bath layout that definitely improved on our original thoughts. In the end the project came in on time and with a very small increase to the original estimate despite some challenges he and his crew had to work through. The best part, though, is the absolute impeccable quality of the finished product. We highly recommend Pedro and Crystal Renovations and plan to use them again in the near future."

"When we decided to finish the large basement of our ranch-style home, Lancaster Home Remodeling was on our list of businesses to consider. Upon our contacting John and Kim, we secured an appointment in the near future for John to go through our basement with our architect after he finished up work for the day on his then-current project. At this initial appointment, John asked detailed questions, making sure that he understood everything about the project which our architect had planned. John and Kim were clear that they would not be able to start construction for several months because of John’s current project’s timeline. However, the work in our basement began in very close proximity to their original estimate of when they expected that it would. When construction began, John worked diligently and methodically. Everything he did —from insulation and framing, to boxing out for pipes, to installing subfloor and prepping for flooring and blue board installation —seemed to take as long as it needed to in order to be done right; then he moved on. He kept us informed of the process as he went along, and was consistently on the job when he said he would be. The other specialists he hired to do other aspects — electrical, plumbing, plaster and paint, and tile for a bathroom, worked quickly, and to date it appears they have done an excellent job. He introduced us to businesses in the area which offered a customer friendly experience in terms of selecting tiles, paint, and bathroom fixtures. And where he offered advice in these areas, he understood that every homeowner has their own style and preferences, and directed his his counsel towards brands that would offer diverse selection and high quality. Personally, after numerous conversations with them, we found both John and Kim to be affable and people-friendly. John was always happy to explain what he would be doing next, and why he did what he did in terms of his construction techniques. Our experience has left us far more than satisfied with our experience with Lancaster Home Improvement, and shows that John and Kim run their business with professionalism, expertise, and a true pride in the work which they do. We unreservedly recommend them for your own project, and will continue to work with them as our own needs arise."

"It was very nice working with Lou and his team. He responded quickly to my request for a quote. I found his pricing to be fair. He and his team came and installed my roof in one day. The crew put down the tarps to protect my flowers and lawn. When they finished the site was all clean. Lou took the time to explain the details of the quote which I appreciated. He quickly responded to any questions I had . I would highly recommend Lou for your roofing needs. Iâ ve also hired him team to power wash my home. They did a fantastic job- it looks like a new house. I had a lot of moss on the north side of my home. They worked extra hard to get it all removed. After the power wash all the staining from the moss was gone. The crew cleaned up as they worked. Again, if you are thinking of power washing I would highly recommend Lou and his team."

"William and his crew did a good job of the laborious and complex task of removing and replacing a rotting, out of date, porch structure on my home. William walked me through every step of the way and maintained great communication throughout the project letting me know where they were in the project as well as any difficulties or complexities that they faced. "I once joked to a friend in response to his 'since you are so happy with his work, I may hire him too', I told him, 'you don't choose Vinnie, Vinnie chooses you! Vinnie does the work as if it is his own project. Completely focused, attentive to the details. I liked most of this wor ethic. His quote was one of the most competitive. We interviewed about six different builders all with good ratings from friends or Angie's list. People he works with, electrician, plumber, HVAC were all very professional. Timely. Vinnie came up with this kitchen breakfast bar/island concept. He built it without much of an additional charge to the original quote. Gave us the address from where we could buy a quartz top. That breakfast bar became the central piece of the basement. There was a plain big wall on one side of the basement. Vinne came up with a cost-effective way to turn it into a brick-looking wall perfectly matching brick tiles in the kitchen. He put the kitchen brick tiles in one afternoon, without asking extra on top of the quote. Vinnie guided how best to get custom kitchen cabinets suitable for a basement. He installed the cabinets himself. He had put the crown of the cabinet twice to match two pieces of the crown in color, he did not ask for extra. He helped us choose the best option for flooring for humidity and told us where to find the most cost-effective flooring. He only charged us for putting the flooring down. All this gave us confidence that what he is charging us reasonable, he was not charging us extra on top of the material cost to him since we were buying the material ourselves after making sure that the price/quality was suitable for the project."
