"Excellent work by Justin who needed to start from the wood studs and prepare and install our shower with 12” x 24” ceramic porcelain tiles. He did an exceptional job and took extra care to ensure it was done correctly."

"We had to call numerous times to keep the ball rolling. We tried to call to get more work done but they told us they were too busy. When asked for the number of the electrician to contact him directly they refused. All his men are subcontractors they do not belong to him."

"They built a beautiful 4 seasons room for us which included demo of existing deck and metal cover. They took care of everything from foundation with drainage, roof, walls, windows, doors, siding and all. Excellent suggestions, worked well through things and gave us a beautiful elegant new room at a reasonable price."

"New floors look great and they did well even with having to put in an inferior hardwood product - “seconds” which I didn’t know when I purchased. Oak with an unusual finish I love though was challenging to install because not uniform. I have electric now for pendant lighting over an eating bar, and they changed my fixture in dining room. Well done!"

"John was GREAT to work with. I needed an understructure check on my home before installing a tile shower, & he responded quickly and arrived early. His knowledge is extensive and he explained in detail what needed to be done before my project began. I will definitely be using his company for any future projects."

"The entire team of workers on this project were professional in all areas, i. e: work habits, creative and building performance, people skills, efficient use of materials, and camraderie among each other. They not only did an excellent job but exceeded my expectations. The front deck and cover do not look like an addition to the house...rather...no one can tell it wasn't part of the original house design. PERFECT ---PERFECT ---PERFECT!!! Many compliments have already been received since the completion and everyone wants to know who the builder was. Thank you TRM - I love it."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Ashland, OR

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
