Customers say: Quick response

"AHC kept me informed of when the work would be done. Weather caused some delays in getting to my project, which I fully understand. AHC kept in touch with me giving me updates and I greatly appreciated that they did so. AHC s spray work was done very well. There was no mess or over spray to clean up. I did the required prep work such as filling in places where the insulation spray could escape. Also, it is important for you to cover areas that you do not want the spray to cover. AHC did a great job follwing the plan. I am very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them."

""If you’re shopping around for insulation, save yourself the time and call Geo-Insulation. As a military retiree, I truly value honesty and professional execution, and Tom (owner) and his team delivered on both. After comparing four different quotes, it was clear that Geo-Insulation was the best choice. I told Tom I was looking for a reasonable ROI, and he was incredibly upfront about which upgrades would yield the most savings. His pricing was fair and transparent—unlike several competitors I contacted. The installation was fast, clean, and professional. If you want an honest local business with no-pressure sales and expert work, look no further than Geo-Insulation!""

"Nick was very personable and very thorough in his presentation and explanation of the products his company offers for attic insulation. The employees who came to install the insulation were respectful, informative and did the job well. We are very pleased with the outcome and are looking forward to seeing how the upgraded attic insulation will improve the comfort of our home and improve our electric bill!"

"Excellent attention to detail. Also does A/C install and repair work. Will have them do all of my preventative maintenance, as well as install insulation over my garage ceiling."

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in San Antonio, TX

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
