"Omar is one of a kind. Don't think twice about hiring him, do it! His initial scope of work included smoothing of textured ceilings in a 1,600 SF townhome built in the 1970s that my wife and I just purchased. The townhome needed lots of work before any reasonable person would consider it habitable. Although I initially hired Omar for smoothing work, he has a very versatile skillset as well as a deep bench of coworkers who perform other trades of work. As opposed to hiring multiple companies and trying to coordinate schedules and timing with multiple individuals, I ran all the work through Omar. Omar smoothed the ceilings, rebuilt the stairs to the second story (tread, risers, handrails, staining), removed old carpet and replaced it with pre-engineered hardwood, patched and concealed 30+ holes in the drywall, replaced the ladder to the attic, and painted the entire house (walls, ceiling, and trim). Omar is a craftsman. His attention to detail is second to none and I never had concerns the work wouldn't be completed to a very high-level of perfection. Omar prides himself upon making the owner happy, and it shows in his work. Above all else, Omar is communicative and trustworthy. He is man of his word. Omar showed up when he said he would show up, completed each scope of work on schedule, and when he had questions that required my decision, was quick to ask. Throughout the duration of his work in my house, Omar used the guest key. I wasn't at the house for most of the time, but Omar worked independently and diligently while paying respect to my personal possessions and residence. "The company sent out "Alex". The job was to replace a small wall cabinet that fell from a previous handyman installed. Turns out the cabinet was installed without a wood anchor in the wall. Alex installed wood anchors in an open space in the wall, and showed me how it could not be pulled out. He repaired the sheetrock, blow-dried the wet mud, sanded it smooth, and matched the paint perfectly, then replaced the cabinet strong enough to sit on top of it ...all in 2.5 hours!!! Seriously EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL, quicker than expected time start to finish by Alex!!!! He was on time and very pleasant, neat and cleaned up the work space like he was never there.
