"Tom was hard-working, meticulous, and polite throughout the long process of renovating a section of our basement. Sometimes working with an assistant, he repaired walls that had been damaged by water. He removed a shelf and some unnecessary trim that had been attached to walls, then repaired areas underneath. He scraped and removed paint from existing walls (including several types of wall material -- drywall and exposed stone), woodwork, etc. He cleaned and painted four window well areas which had been covered with years of grime and debris. He carefully painted ceiling, which consisted of many exposed pipes, valves and fixtures, using a dark brown paint in order to camouflage those previously very visible and ugly features.  He repaired drywall in many areas of both rooms. He painted the walls, the trim, the doors, the stairwell, and the stairs."

"John did an outstanding job. Our project was complicated because we had a very long motorized awning that was attached to the house that needed to be removed. Then aluminum siding needed to be installed to cover the area that held the awning. Our house is about 33 years old and finding aluminum siding that matched the original siding was no easy task. We contacted about ten painters from Angie’s list and only a few were willing/able to tackle all this. John was the one we chose. He was meticulous about hunting down aluminum siding panels that matched the house. He was equally meticulous taking down the gutters and reattaching them using new, more modern hardware. We have an expensive Pella sliding exterior door that he spray-painted and now looks as good as the original factory finish. I could go on and on but you get the drift. If you are looking for a reliable, reasonably priced painting perfectionist, your search is over!"

"We found the black mold and immediately did a search for mold removal companies on Angie's list. Far too many times we've encountered poor quality customer service and quality work on projects in our home in the past, which is why my husband does all of our home improvements. This issue however was far beyond our realm of expertise. When we contacted Puroclean, they came with in 24 hours to inspect the mold and give us a quote. After inspection, they informed my husband they would be happy to stay and remove the mold THAT day, which was even better. Unfortunately, my husband still had to open up another wall in my daughter's soon to be bedroom in order to assure there wasn't mold in there, so he told them he'd call them back to schedule once we knew if that wall also needed the mold removal. My husband was than offered that IF we did find mold in her room, they would take care of that as well for the same price estimate we were given for just the play room! Given the scale of this home project, this was a huge relief for us, and so refreshing as many professionals we have encountered are not so kind. Not only was my husband very pleased with their professionalism, but he was also very happy with the quality of work they provided. Hecter and Jason were the professionals that came to our home and removed/sanitized the wall that had the black mold. Everything is now clean and safe and my husband can move forward with finishing the remodel. We are beyond happy with the quality of work and piece of mind that was provided to us. And although we would absolutely use this company in the future if we ever needed to, we truly hope we don't have to as this was an unexpected and scary home improvement we hope to not have to make again!
