"Order arrived quickly - all in good condition. Have been using them for quite a while now. I love that the pieces lock together magnetically - so no sliding around. You can choose your colors: top and bottom. You do the measuring - they have instructions on how to do that - and it is very simple. Their order department was very accommodating when I called. Would definitely order from them."

"I will say that the work was exquisite. The damaged piece was a 70+ year old mahogany chest of drawers that had been my grandparents. You would never be able to tell that a repair was made - it is seamless.  All of the pieces came out beautifully. When they picked up the pieces on April 14, I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. It was actually 3 1/2 months before the furniture was completed. The only time I spoke to them was when I initiated the call. So, you will get excellent work, but be aware that they are slow. I would suggest you call every week at a minimum to keep on their radar.

"The sofa was in really bad shape; re-upholstering it was worth the cost only because it is sturdier than newer sofa beds and it opens up to make two twin beds, a feature you just can't find. Although the work was scheduled sooner than I expected, actual work took 3 weeks, a week longer than I expected. The sofa looks much better than it did, but the new cushions are between 1 inch and 1 3/4 inches too deep, front to back, so they stick out a bit beyond the frame. Mr. Washington was willing to re-do them at no cost, but we decided against it. After measuring, we came to the conclusion that the problem was caused by an un-even sofa back. Re-doing the cushions so they would be flush with the frame across the full length of the sofa would have produced two cushions of unequal size and shape. That would probably have looked worse; it definitely would have made it impossible to flip them over if / when one side gets worn."

"From start to finish , it went really well. I wasn't sure how to use my 8x4 closet space to its maximum. Willie came in and his eye for what would work for me was wonderful. His designs were great. The cabinet in dining room turned out perfect too. The installers were great also. Highly recommended."

"I had multiple people come over to give me quotes for a built in bookshelf unit which would end up being 10 ft tall by 12 feet wide with a ladder, I had an idea of what I wanted done.  Andy was able to do what I wanted and gave me ideas of how to improve it.  Everything that I wanted done he said could be done.  The other providers either said it couldn't be done or altered the plans due to construction needs which were not necessary.  He was also the only one willing to stain the shelves prior to install where everyone else would build and install them but said I had to hire another company to stain them.  He took the measurements,  drew up plans for me to approve, built the unit at his workshop, and then picked a day to install.  He came with one assistant and worked through the day to install it.  The final project was well beyond my expectations.  He interacted great with my children and even allowed my 3 year old son to safely feel like he was assisting in part of the project (putting in the shelf pins).  He was not the cheapest bid but did work with me on the price as I was hiring him in the winter time when he wasn't as busy.  I did take photos but they wouldn't load for some reason.  He also left me a drill bit for the shelf pin holes incase I wanted to arrange the shelves differently than the standard set up.  The shelving unit is rock solid and able to hold multiple grown men climbing on it while fully loaded with hundreds of books. I would happily use him again for a custom carpentry project.

"Mr. Jonas provided a reasonable quote and a time frame he could have the bookshelves made and installed. The workmanship was excellent and he did a great job installing the bookshelves. Unlike other installations, he left no mess and left everything in proper order."

"We had been experiencing some areas of the floors "sinking" or ridges of raised floors.  We did no know what kind of contractor to call.  Luckily we called Silverwood.  Bruce Lowenthal inspected the problem and  recommended structural support of our floors.  Some of our support beams were cracked and not properly installed by the original builder.  Bruce had a crew go under the house and support the areas in question. We were impressed by Bruce's knowledge and his crews professionalism.  They left the crawl space in superb condition and the floors are no longer a worry."

"It was very worthwhile to use this service because the decorator answered some critical questions and kept me from making costly mistakes.  It is a good place to start and the price was right for what she did.  She spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to me but before that she spent a significant amount of time looking over photos and measurements that I submitted to her by email. She put a lot of time into the consult.  This service would be great for choosing wall colors, flooring, and fabric for furniture.  I will definitely keep her contact information for future projects.
