Not all HVAC companies do that. He also explained to me the benefits of a zoned HVAC system, and left a very nice brochure showing the benefits of that. "They were alright.  They were just really quick.  They ran around the house and looked at all the toilets, faucets and water fixtures.  They gave me a brief explanation of what they say as potential issues.  They tried to sell more service or product.  They ended selling us a garbage disposal unit.  It was expensive and the labor was as well.  I paid another $500 on top of the Big Deal to rebuild a toilet and install a new garbage disposal.  They just replaced the gasket on the toilet.  They replaced something on the water heater as well.  We had a few leaks after they left."
