"Great work. I was insulating my barn and doing something out of the ordinary based on the limited electrical power I had available and no natural gas. They took the time to listen to my wants and ask the appropriate questions to understand. I applied 6” of closed cell foam on the roof and 4” of closed cell on the walls. They showed up on time and stuck with the job until it was finished leaving the barn cleaner than it was when they started. "Excellent. This experience was the best I have had hiring outside help. After it was installed, I had some concerns and asked Aaron to come by. He came over on a Friday evening and to my surprise, agreed and quickly went above and beyond to remedy the situation. He was understanding and agreed with my concerns. Later I was worried about a sound I was hearing coming from the sump pump. He came up on a Sunday and turned out it was my old pump (not the new one they had installed) that was making the noise. He removed it and clearly explained why it was making the noise. The perimeter drain, pump, and dry well that they installed have all worked great since the installation, which was nearly 9 months ago now. It was very clear making sure a job was completed well and with integrity was important to him. The finished job is such a GREAT improvement to our crawlspace. We now have a cement floor crawl instead of dirt and gravel and also the entire walls of the crawl were sealed and spray foamed. They also installed a new sump pump. There is tons of storage space and its also a clean and healthier crawl. We have already noticed that our floors in our home are warmer! "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
