"We hired Jim Longden in 2023 to install flooring in our dining room, kitchen, and downstairs bathroom. He also installed a vanity, sink, and toilet for us. He claimed he was capable of doing that work and we hired him in good faith. He made some egregious errors which caused flooding and water damage that was discovered in 2024. Uber our toilet the blocking was gone and the hole under our toilet was too big. He also never sealed the toilet in the floor so you could just wiggle it around in the bathroom floor! A professional contractor would never make these mistakes. Water leaked underneath our bathroom, kitchen, and dining room floors and they all had to be torn out. We had to pay for the repairs out of our own pocket so we are currently $30,000 in debt. We are still fighting with his insurance to pay for this! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. "

He was very professional and work was completed in a timely manner…they even worked in the rain. They cleaned up every bit of debris from the job and left me with a beautiful new deck ready to use. "Unethical and Predatory pricing and poor judgment?AVOID. ?I am writing this to warn others: do not use this service unless you want to be severely overcharged. A handyman was called by my tenant to fix a hot water issue along with two minor household repairs (locks and closets). ?He charged me nearly $2,300 for a half-day of work, with $1,500 for labor alone. To make matters worse, instead of recommending a replacement for the aging water heater, he "repaired" it for a cost that would have easily covered a brand-new unit. A new unit would have also come with a full manufacturer?s warranty, whereas I now have a massive bill for an old tank that could fail again tomorrow. This shows a complete lack of integrity and a focus on short-term profit over the customer's best interest. He took advantage of the situation and my tenant?s urgency. Find someone honest instead."
