Brandy called with updates, the time the men would be here or if there was a delay. I’ve never experienced such personable professional service. Sam and Skip were an amazing team! They worked quickly and tirelessly through cold windy weather. The windows, fascia, and corner boards they replaced were done to perfection! They took the rotten boards away and cleaned up every place they worked. I can’t say enough about what a great group of people they are. Out of 10, I rate them 12."

"At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't. He suggested a landing on the stairway, widening and decreasing the pitch which accommodated an easier climb for us. Those are just the highlights, there was much more. "EXCELLENT CONTRACTOR. My project was drywall installation during a bathroom remodel. I chose Golden Rule after reading the reviews and obtaining an estimate. The price matched the budget I had set for this part of the project. The work was performed during four visits over four days (drying periods are required for drywall). Michael showed up on time each day. He was very polite and very helpful with explanation of drywall techniques and also offered advice on other household repairs I might need. The final product was perfect and ready for painting. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to use Golden Rule for any future projects."

"Mike has completed two projects for us. The first job Mike did for me was not the remodel project, since we weren't far enough along in the process yet to hire. However, in the pictures they showed me were a couple tile jobs. That inspired mt husband to hire him to finish the tiling of our kitchen counters which I had started three years earlier, then realized I was way over my head! They were able to plan it out and install the tile very professionally! He was very diplomatic about making suggestions of what might be better, instead of telling me I was a crazy lady! :-) We went on to use Mike for a multiple room addition out into our post and beam barn. The addition came out beautifully. Nothing about this was easy! It even required custom- made window sills! During the process, Mike made some good suggestions that I hadn't thought of but liked and went with. The attention to detail is fantastic, and the craftsmanship shows. They made the pegs for the screws in our stairs! Excellent to work with and well worth the money! I can't add pictures to an edit, but have LOTS!"
