"Scott did a great job on the repairs. I called him Friday and he was out on Monday. I had given him the model #s so he had all the parts required. He called on Sunday to confirm that he would be there on Monday and the approx. time. He fixed everything and tested it to make sure. He is very clean and neat. Cleaned/vacuumed the excess lint out the inside of the dryer while he had it all apart. Wonderful and will use him again for any appliance repairs. Very responsive, very neat and successful repair."

"Total Appliance Service was one of two repair shops in my area listed on the manufacturer's web site. Some of the reviews on Angie's list for TAS are dreadful. So, I called the other shop first. There was a scheduling mishap with them, and I called TAS. My clothes washer has a 5 year warranty when the industry standard is for 3 years. The first place I called was very skeptical. They eventually agreed to honor that provided I produce the warranty documentation. TAS lookup up my model online while I was on the phone and confirmed the 5-year warranty. The technician arrived within the window and had a part in hand. Based on my description he knew what was wrong. He completed the repair within a reasonable amount of time and was personable. My experience with TAS was good."

"Mr. McGowan was very knowledgeable, transparent and upfront about parts and labor costs. Couldn't ask for quicker service. We called him on Thursday, he arrived Friday afternoon to diagnose and procure the parts needed, and repaired our washer on Saturday early afternoon on time as promised. He also accepts multiple forms of payment, which is cool. Luckily we came up with enough cash, but it was nice to know we could pay with a credit card if necessary. <br /> If you're looking for fast, reliable service at a good price, this is your guy. Having appliances, especially new ones break down sucks. Period. But at least Selby makes the process of fixing it as painless as possible. <br />"

"My dryer would not heat to dry the clothes. I phoned on Tuesday afternoon and John was able to come the next day to repair my dryer. He came in the time frame in which he told me he would arrive. He was knowledgeable of the work that needed to be completed. He had the parts needed to complete the repair. He worked in a timely manner and cleaned up before he left. I would call him again if needed in the future."

"The service call went well, they were able to make it out a day early to assess the problem. The valve for the ice maker was frozen and leaking water into the bottom of the refrigerator. They suggested to defrost it and retest. It fixed the problem, no more leaks. I will definately call them again."
