"I had wooden window blinds (12 years old) that would not open. They
were stuck on closed. I called Delightful Decors because I had purchased
other window treatments from them recently and really liked their
service. I was scheduled within a very reasonable time. Jonathan
diagnosed the problem right away and proceeded to get the cords all back
where they were supposed to be. I continue to have great confidence in
this company."

"Cabinet trim not aligned, door leaks now, security wire cut (they did repair the next day; but we were without a secure window for a night...it Looks okay, but if you are a stickler for details (alignment, angles, precision cutting) maybe not the best option. I STOPPED using Angie's List after this experience...too risky, no guarantees on service, or protection of investment.

"After I approved the drapes, I was sent an invoice for $700. I paid the invoice. It's been over a year and despite numerous emails (over a dozen) with Amanda Zettel of Homemade Design, I still have not received the drapes or a refund. I was very satisfied with all of Homemade Design's work up until this experience."

"Two of them came out. There was a long list and we were happy to pay more, but I was not pleased when I got home. I wanted the caulking in the shower redone and they did not get to that. There is a gate in a storage thing out in the side yard and the door needed patching. I just did not like coming home. I felt like they rushed and just did not get it all done or even attempted to get it done. The price was not the issue. I just wanted those things done. With two of them here, I felt like they could have done more."

"I have several Trion 250 electronic air purifier consoles, which are now obsolete and for which few parts are available. When the motor on one unit suddenly ceased working -- these units are made to run continuously, 24/7 -- I consulted Angie's List and put in a call to Quality Handyman Services. Owner Steve Lee answered the phone and gave me hope that repair was at least a possibility. He made time to come himself and assess the situation, at my early convenience.
Steve arrived on time and first confirmed the problem. He then disassembled the unit, examining each component with care. He soon enough discovered that a plastic-like bushing in proximity to the motor had disintegrated, probably due to age and, continuing his investigation, pulled the motor where he discovered fragments of the bushing had lodged amongst the ball bearings. Yipes! Knowing the replacement parts difficulty, he then carefully removed the offending fragments, lubricated thoroughly, and neatly reassembled the console. My electronic air cleaner immediately began working perfectly!
I am thoroughly pleased, and the cost savings are especially appreciated.
