"The take away: Impressive! I'd hire him again without any hesitation and will recommend him to anyone who needs plaster work done. I had several areas in my house that needed plaster repaired from a roof leak and from a plumbing drain stack replacement. Other companies wouldn't take on the job or wanted $6K to $8K and a week to do it. Robert came in, took a quick look and some pictures and quoted me at $1,700 and could do it all in one day! Sounded too good to be true, but with all the good reviews he has, I hired him. He wasn't booked up, so I hired him on Monday and he scheduled the work Thursday and then finished everything in a half day. I think everything is done extremely well! The new plaster blends right into the old plaster. And that's the thing - it's plaster. He's able to do it in one day because he puts up sheet rock and plasters over it rather than putting up drywall and putting layers and layers of joint compound on the seams, which requires time to dry, then sanding, repeat. With plaster, you put it on once, smooth it out, let it dry and it's done, and frankly looks better that way. Anyway, I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the experience and highly recommend Robert!"

"We can't even begin to tell you how happy we are with the work that was done on our home. Our house went from being the "ugly duckling" of our street to the "beautiful swan" after Roman's crew was done with our home. Bill, Rob and Evan were the men who did our front porch, and it's what sets the look for the house. I could not have asked for three finer men who were a pleasure to get to know, and appreciate their workmanship. The guys would show up around 6:30am, and were ready to begin at 7am. They had the old porch torn off in a day, and over the next several days, an entirely new porch was framed and the most beautiful wood was used for the new flooring, along with white vinyl railings. They also put in my new front door and storm door to complete the project. For the siding, gutters, downspouts, soffit & fascia, I've not seen men work this hard and tirelessly in a long time. Fredericko and Jose would show up around 8am every day, and work until they had no daylight left to work in. The finished product looks incredible, and we are so grateful for the hard work the men put in to transforming our home. "In summer 2014 I interviewed three different contractors to replace my back porch, which had some structural problems and was in need of replacing. I decided to hire the Construction Factory because John, the owner, listened carefully, seemed to understand what I wanted, and provided an estimate that I could afford. He and his crew started work in the winter and completed the job in February of 2015. Soon after completion, it became clear there was a problem with the lattice on the porch. The rest of the porch looked great and the work they did to upgrade my front porch greatly improved the curb appeal of my house. John and I had many conversations about how to fix the problem with the lattice and John tried several things to try and make it work. We even talked about taking a different design approach. It all ended recently when we finally agreed that the root of the problem were the vinyl lattice panels themselves. We joined forces and wrote to the manufacturer. We succeeded in getting a full refund of the purchase price for the materials, getting the promise of a full refund within a couple of hours! John and I agreed that if I paid for the materials, he would install new lattice with framing. At the cost of treated wood lattice, paint, and vinyl trim (under $1000), John and his crew removed the old, flimsy vinyl lattice and replaced it with ¾” treated lattice that my neighbor and I primed and painted. John’s crew was able to complete the replacement in one day (except for some final trim at the top of the skirt, which John himself promised to return and install in the next couple of weeks). My experience with this company started out great. Although we had some problems along the way, John always stuck with it and wanted to make it right and get me what I originally wanted. The porch is already getting accolades from my neighbors. John really turned things around by being persistent, talking things through with me, and following through on what he promised. If it wasn’t for this poor material, I’m sure the job would have been completed without a hitch."

It took him a little longer than he initially estimated to me, but we requested special wood (a more ecologically produced pressure treated lumber) and so there was some time in getting and adjusting to the new materials.
