"Our soil is all clay which has the highest risk of damaging a foundation as it alternates between wet and dry. Even a light rain would leave us a soggy yard for days as most of the roof drained to the lawn via downspouts or popups. Water would collect at the front of our house because the front yard and driveway sloped down to the house. The builder used flimsy corrugated plastic tubes for underground connections to pop ups on the lawn. (One of flimsy tubes was blocked with debris.) Drain Designs did an excellent job connecting new commercial grade 4 inch PVC pipes to all downspouts plus installed two surface drains to collect water at the house front. The three-team crew (Rob, Dalton and Jonny) were courteous, skilled and hard working. They hand dug trenches next to the foundation against our home, carefully removing any plants which they watered and set aside. The PVC pipes were placed and securely connected with screws. All of the roof’s rain was directed through the underground PVCs to the woods behind our house. Downspout cleanouts for flushing were placed. The plants were replanted so carefully that neighbors could not tell that the work had been done. In the following week we had two intense downpours during which the new system worked flawlessly. No water pooled at the front of the house or in our yard. We highly recommend Drain Designs. BTW, their guarantee is a lifetime…not my lifetime but the home’s because it’s a Transferable Lifetime Warranty."

"They were efficient and professional.  Before the actual install, the designer helped to make sure that the walk in shower would be easy to use by my 96 year old mother.  They had great ideas that worked wonderfully. <br /> The only thing is that I ordered brushed aluminum door frame.  The frame looked brass to me. Even though I didn't really follow up on the issue until a couple of months later, they did send someone out to look at it and agreed that it did not look like the brushed aluminum.  They replaced the door frame. <br /> Although they have assured me that the frame is brushed aluminum, it still looks too brassy to me, but better than it did.  I loved their service but not the product. <br />"

"Erin Gladden and his serviceman were extremely professional and helpful in solving some water issues we were experiencing. My only regret is that I had not called them earlier. They know plumbing. They took time to explain options and provide written estimates. They not only honored the estimate, they went the extra mile to insure the system was working properly and in doing so, discovered a major flaw in the way the home was originally plumbed; a hidden connection that had cold water communicating with a hot water feed line. They were courteous and extremely easy to work with. They demonstrated exemplary service and commitment to providing a job done right."

So the owner of Progressive Water Solutions had his tech install a bigger system and had it moved from the crawl space to the garage at no additional cost to us. "I’ll start by straight out saying that I have to give Eric and his team the absolute highest recommendation. Eric and his team are the best we have ever worked with. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Eric S Perry Design and Build. We own a Chapel Hill home that was built in 1970. It was neglected by the previous owner and after 46 years, it needs a lot of work. Last year, we started working with Eric and his team, and after a few months we have finished a very large, complete gut and remodel of our kitchen, living, and dining room. All the rooms are now part of a new open space in the redesigned floorplan. Our awful, enclosed 1970s kitchen was replaced with an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING new contemporary, modern, open floorplan kitchen. We also did a complete renovation of a guest bathroom. The horrid 1970s green tile, green tub, green sink and matching green toilet (yes...green toilet) were completely gutted and replaced with beautiful new finishes and a large, open, glass standup shower. During our initial consultation and planning meetings, Eric and Violet (Eric’s wife and designer) listened what we wanted and Violet helped come up with a great design, plan and budget. They are so easy and a pleasure to work with. You quickly find out that they are really looking out for you. It is so refreshing to have someone keeping an eye out on your budget without compromising on quality or cutting corners. Eric’s attention to detail and quality is commendable. He is a true professional. He is hardworking, highly skilled and has an amazing team. The craftsmanship by Eric and Shannon (Eric’s right-hand man) is unmatched by anyone. Between Eric’s expert woodworking skills, Shannon’s beautiful work on tile and the rest of his team, everything was taken care of. Eric ensures that all of his team completes the work up to his standards. Everyone on the team is very professional and friendly. Communication was also excellent. He was onsite at my house EVERYDAY to meet with me and discuss the status. He will keep you informed of what is coming up and when homeowner decisions need to be made by you. When I was out of town or not available, Eric kept me informed with photos and texts. ESP is Grade A on Angieslist and completely worth it. You HAVE to give Eric a call to at least have a consultation with him before deciding on anyone. Our 1970s home needs a LOT of love and we will be giving him a call again. We are so glad that it is a no brainer to call ESP for our next project."

"Great. We negotiated the brand and model of water softener and a price. He also suggested a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter for the kitchen. I researched it and had several phone calls about it with Stuart French, the owner. I finally agreed to it and we included it in the contract. I signed an electronic PDF contract. Very easy and straight-forward. Stuart came on time with his helper and they installed the system without incident. He took time to acquaint me with the system and how to use it. That night, I noticed they had not hooked up the RO filter to the refrigerator water dispenser, as they said they would. I called Stuart and his helper came the next day and finished the install of the RO filter. No problems. Finally, after about 3 weeks, I noticed that the water softener was not working and was, in fact, off. I called Stuart. He had me check and they had erroneously plugged in the unit to a different outlet that shared other systems in the house and the breaker in the receptacle shut off. I plugged it in the correct outlet. The time, however, was reset to 12:00 in the water softener. We set the time correctly, but I asked him if the other settings now had all been reset. He said he'd stop by the next day and check them. He did this, and we are all good now. (The other settings had not been reset.) Stuart and his helper are great guys to work with. They do what they say they will do."
