Soon after, he returned a detailed quote to us as well as concrete start and end dates for the project. Our second impressions came when he and his exceptional crew began the project, again punctual. "We are extremely pleased with the entire interaction with David, the owner, and the entire process. I had the opportunity to speak with several companies that do replacement windows, and each person/ company I spoke with impressed me as being competent and probably able to do a job that that I would be satisfied with, but I chose A-1 because David clearly was the most knowledgeable and I was pleased with his asnswers to my concerns about the method of installation and insulating the old weight wells. I wanted whoever would do the job to install the windows from the outside to save disruption of the interior stops and trim. I also asked the method that would be used to install the insulation. Others that I had spoken with either wanted to lnstall from the inside or offered to changed their method to accommodate me. That was welcomed, but A-1 told me that they only install from the outside, and the reasons matched perfectly with my thoughts. That being as it was, the process was very well laid out, any questions, and/or issues were all addressed in a timely manner. "I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. "We met the owner Matt in April at a local home show when we were thinking about a sunroom.  He came to our house aftyer we called him a few weeks later, designing the room with us.  He came back in a week with a detailedpicture of the cost...with discounts if we signed then.  We did.  He said he could have it started in late August with a completion daste in September.  he instead was able to begin in late July and they were finished within two weeks.  The workers were excellent, personable and trustworthy.  Matt was by reqularly to check with us and confer with the workmen.  Thorough consideration to our needs. <br /> Called about two minor problems (a cracked brick and a ripped screen) and they were back in a few days to fix them. <br />"
