He also hired an excellent landscaping company to complete the work and checked in repeatedly during the process to ensure that everything was going according to plan. I am extremely pleased with the results -- a yard that was once an eyesore and a constant source of frustration is now quite beautiful and calming. Will's choices of plants and materials were perfect and they work together in the space exceptionally well. And the service he provided throughout the entire process was impeccable. "Mr. Workman always took my calls, worked with us when we weren't sure of the type of fence we wanted and always kept his meetings. Columbus had a very wet spring and that delayed starting the work but, even though it was too wet for him to use his equipment, he and his son hand-carried all the concrete and fence through the trees and mud in order to finish the job so we and our dogs could move in. The slope of the land made one side of the main gate so high off the ground that the dogs might get through. Mr. Workman was able to make a special piece that bridged that gap and still allowed the gate to function.. It may be a small operation but they gave us top service, even avoiding a neighbor's flowers that were on our property. They were also very good about cleaning up after their work. We were unsure if we wanted to spend that much but, now that the job is done, we are glad we did."

"Bob and his crew were wonderful to work with. Bob responded very quickly with an estimate and suggestions on types of fencing, The old fence was already down in places and was quite overgrown, I did not have any gates. I was very happy with the price and was surprised when I left for work in the morning and old fence was gone and new fence in and complete by time I returned home from work. The crew hauled everything away and I love my new fence."

"They did a fine job with the work.  The pump install wasn't ideal (the pipe was exposed above the water level when it should've been below, etc), but the pond was cleaned as expected.  The trouble, as my "grade" indicates, was with the company's responsiveness.  We were on a tight time schedule (putting the house on the market) and I was grateful that Jake had time in his schedule to come out and give us an estimate and was going to be able to get the work done quickly.  Unfortunately, he missed the estimate appointment.  He had it written down on the wrong day.  That was frustrating when I was waiting in an empty house on a morning I took off work, but it happens & it's forgivable.  Jake was courteous and professional when he did arrive.  He said the estimate would be emailed that evening, but when it didn't arrive for a few days I emailed him and he then got me the estimate.  Again, forgivable, but added to the missed appointment, I almost didn't use them.  I needed the work done quickly and without a hassle.  At the estimate he'd said they could get the work done before the weekend, but then weren't able to schedule it until a few days later (because, I think, he hadn't accounted for giving the pump time to arrive).  Eventually, he did send his team (two guys who did the work while I wasn't there) & they did a fine job. <br /> I've found that "pond guys" tend to have a very relaxed attitude toward the business side of their businesses.  Jake did not prove me wrong.  In the end, they did a fine job with a task that I didn't want to do myself.   <strong>I'm happy with the work.</strong>  But if we weren't selling the house, I might keep searching for the perfect pond person -- or I might just make sure I wasn't in a rush to get things done. <br />"
