Several weeks later we returned and finally made a selection. Sherry educated us about the carpet we were about to purchase and carefully went through their service contract so there would be no surprises at the point of installation. The Atlas workmen were very experienced and highly efficient in their work. They moved the heavy furniture and even re-situated it when I asked them to. I was surprised to see a foreman who later came to the house to inspect the work before the crew left! Wool seams were expertly folded where the carpet met the tile floor. I am so happy with the quality of the wool carpet, Atlas' competent salesperson, Sherry, and their experienced and professional work team. I should have done this many years ago. "Art and his brother Mark were prompt, professional, and payed great attention to detail. Both men had wonderful manners and were very communicative about the costs and timing involved in cleaning our carpeting. Their customer service is rarely found in today’s environment! The men arranged to pick up my oriental rug before they came to my home to clean the wall to wall carpeting. On the day Art and Mark came to clean the carpet they brought the oriental rug with them so that it could be placed in my great room on the same day. The oriental rug is now in like new condition. The stains in the wall to wall carpet seem to have all been removed. The method that was used in cleaning did not leave my carpet wet but rather a damp dry which now, 5 hours later, is totally dry. Art told me he would return to re-treat spots that might reappear later. Art and Mark worked great as a team. They moved furniture to clean under and around it. They replaced the furniture before they left. The job was done in the exact time frame they gave me. I have moved many times and used different carpet cleaners. I thought no one could top the cleaning company I used before moving to Texas. Heaven’s Best has out surpassed any other carpet cleaning company I have used in the past! "We have used Couture three times to replace carpeting in our home with hardwood floors and are very satisfied.  We went to their showroom on IH 10 to view samples of flooring.  It's a really nice showroom that has extensive displays of carpeting, tile, and flooring.  They allow you to take samples home to see how they look in your home.  An employee comes to your home to accurately measure the areas to be covered (Jeb did this in our case).  He's fast and efficient.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The first time we used Couture, we were replacing a large carpeted area with hardwood.  We got estimates from three different flooring companies. The difference in price between them was less than $100.  We selected Couture based on the longevity of their flooring crews.      <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />When your wood is received at the company they will bring it to your home a day or two before installation so have a place inside your home ready for storing several boxes of wood.  This area should have the same temperature and moisture level as the area to be covered.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Couture uses two or three different subcontractor teams to install the floors.  This is not always a good thing, but Couture has used the same teams for several years so there is consistency.  Ask for David and his crew to install your floor, if possible.  He is a real artist.  He and his crew of cousins and brothers worked while growing up with their dads who own flooring businesses.  They grew up learning the business.   <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Installation time depends on the square area of the floor, but even large areas (in our case the living, dining and entry) can be completed in one day.  Occasionally, some surface leveling may be required so that material has to dry before application of the glue so installation can take a couple of days.  After installation is complete, the crew cleans everything up, helped you move the furniture in place, and hauls away the old carpet and pad.  Whomever you get to do your floors, make certain they check for and re-level  the surface, if necessary. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Couture will be our first stop in the future for any flooring needs. <br />"

"We have a 2 story home and had about 80% of the carpet removed and put hardwood flooring in. Only 2 rooms have carpet left. They were dependable, reliable, courteous and neat. They were very respectable of my family. I expected it to be very traumatic. Having your house tore up and living in it isn't always fun and I dreaded it but they did such a beautiful job. They did everything they could to ensure our comfort while they did the job. I would definately use them again. I wished I would have had all the carpet taken out. "CC Carpet In Richardson was the second carpet retailer I visited and at that time, I was given a ballpark figure for the two carpets I was looking at. This was supposedly after they looked up the price for the specific color of carpets. I setup an appointment for my house to be measured and the salesman to whom I talked in the showroom showed up. After measuring the house, he suggested that I should choose the more expensive carpet. I had already done my homework on both carpets and was trying to make an aesthetic choice, so I asked him to tell me the pros and cons of the two carpets. What he told me was totally contrary to the experts advice and when I asked a follow-up question, he admitted that he had only worked for the company for a couple of months. Ultimately, I chose the less expensive carpet then, as he was writing up the order, stated that the color I wanted was special order and that he needed to call and verify the price. To my surprise, there would be an extra $500 for the special order. I made the decision to proceed anyway. The carpet was to be delivered to them on Jan. 22nd and the salesman suggested that we set up a tentative installation date of Jan. 26th. No one called on Jan. 22nd to tell me that the carpet arrived, so I called them on Jan 23rd. Yes, the carpet arrived and I was told that I would receive a call on Jan 25th to confirm the installation. No one called during the day, so I called them at 5:30 pm. I was told that they had left me a message (they didn't) and that the installer would come the next day at 10:00 pm. The installers didn't show up, so finally getting irritated at the lack of communication, I went to the Richardson showroom. The salesman was there and called the main office. He then told me that they were scheduled to arrive between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. I expressed my frustration with the communications and was that he was sorry and that there was nothing else he could do. The installers showed up at 12:00 noon and worked rapidly.
