They are very busy so we have a three-week wait after we signed the contract and when the work was scheduled to begin. Gerry, the owner is at the site everyday. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"It went very well.  We haven't had any water in the basement since he built the french drain.  That project took one day including digging the trench, putting in the drain and stone and then landscaping dirt away from the house/ toward the drain and finishing the lower end of the drain with grass seed.
The walkway was another day-long project.  Irregular flagstone set in stone dust and removal of the old concrete walkway.  The project turned out beautifully though there was a small issue from county inspection about how the walkway met the stairs.  Jesse came back out later in the week and fixed the issue with no additional cost or complaints.
Jesse knows his business, he's professional, timely and courteous.  I highly recommend him.
