He helped us with several projects - installing a basketball hoop, repairing a door inside our home, repairing and replacing a door on the exterior of our home, fixing a broken gate, installing new bathroom appliances, hanging a large mirror and more. In every project Larry was thoughtful, conscious of the cost for us, detail oriented and meticulous about the quality of his work (a rare quality from our previous experiences.) Larry communicated with us every step of the way and helped us to identify a large problem with our home in the exterior door which was poorly constructed. He was very communicative about costs, providing us options and accurate time lines for the work he would be completing, making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work being done every step of the way. "Went well, was very pleased with work, he developed an illness while working (sinus infection or bronchitis something of that sort) plus his help quit arriving, so it was just him, he pushed through and completed the project, my only complaint would be he did get in a bit of a rush and a few things were missed that I corrected after he was done but again he was ill, his help quit showing and it was HOT!!! He framed an 8 feet deep 44 feet wide and 64 feet long wrap around porch in a week! Fred was a great guy and would hire again"

"After learning that a hailstorm had damaged our roof, we contacted Apex through a recommendation from a friend. We received a total of three bids from three different companies and we chose Apex after meeting Tyler Ward. He was friendly, personable, down to earth, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He did everything he said he was going to do and more quickly than we had expected. He was present during most of the work on the day of the replacement and kept us informed when they found anything anything unexpected (some damaged decking boards were discovered during demolition.) Tyler was very knowledgeable and worked with our insurance to make sure they covered as much as could be. He showed up with his crew early in the morning on the day we scheduled and the entire roof was done in one day! We had expressed concern for our landscaping and they were true to their word and protected it very well. They were thorough in their clean up procedures as well, leaving barely a trace that any work had been done other than a nice new roof! We would definitely use Apex Roofing and Exteriors again and have absolutely no reservations about recommending them to anyone who needed similar work."

"For the price that we paid, I feel that we received a good value. The work was done well and in a somewhat timely manner. There was a delay when the painter had to leave town due to illness in the family. This was unavoidable and Roger communicated with us throughout. Roger's employees are true artist. They came up with affordable solutions for some issues that we had. There are a few places that the paint work was a little sloppy, but considering that we paid about 20% less than the next lowest estimate, we can't complain. The reason that we won't use this company again? The valve that supplies water to our dishwasher broke off during a day early on in the remodel. This was no fault of the crew, just an old valve. The problem is that no one told us this had happened. We turned our dishwasher on and left and when we came back, everything inside, including the end of one of the washer "blades" had melted. I called Roger and we agreed that we would pay to fix the valve and he would pay to replace the damaged dishwasher "blade". He advised me that he had ordered the part, which I had researched and knew to cost around $90. Three weeks later, he said that the part still had not come in. I advised him that I would like to withhold the $125 balance for the completed job until the part was installed. He agreed that was fair. It is 2 months later and we never heard back from Roger about the replacement part. Not only has he not called us, but he has ignored the 2 times that I attempted to contact him to ask about the part. This is extremely unprofessional. If not for that one thing, I would definitely hire him in the future. It's a shame that he ended our contact this way.
